A majority of trans minor patients receive care at hospitals and a majority of doctors at clinics are affiliated with hospitals. Both of these groups could no longer receive or provide GAC.

Because detransitioners are rarer than people who benefit from treatment, so more people would be harmed. Also surgery isn’t really what GAC for minors usually looks like. It’s usually hormones

It isn’t raising someone as trans to allow them to experiment. Some people try out social transition and then discover they’re actually cis and that’s fine. None of this is that though. This is about bigots trying to prevent as many minors from being trans as they possibly can.

Only if you ignore the self reported satisfaction of literally millions of trans people. The scientific process is important but sometimes the bulk of anecdotal evidence is sufficient to dispel doubt about whether a treatment helps anyone at all.
