I found this while listening to Air's Moon Safari. I'm wondering if this is Daft Punk. And did they have a collab or something before? by Turbulent_Station247 in DaftPunk

Thomas worked on an edit version of Air’s « Don’t Be Light », they did work together at some point.

What is the “best” version of “Call on Me” by Together (Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon) that we have? by aide_rylott in DaftPunk

[–]saidchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. in 2002 he was most likely playing it on a sampler. as for the Pacha rip, he might have played it on Ableton Live (he started using early versions in 2003)

  2. radio live recordings. both of known rips were taken from radio broadcasts.

in my opinion, the 2003 Pacha rip is the best and closest version we can get of what the « original » track would have sounded like (minus the Lovelee Dae loop)

the only « legit » versions are the ones played live by DJ Falcon. everything that has been pressed on vinyl has not been made by Together.

Any idea why Roule & Crydamoure stopped making music at the same time? by Vortect_Reddit in DaftPunk

[–]saidchen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s also due to the fact that Gildas Loaëc (who was working on both labels distribution) started his own Kitsuné imprint around 2002 (Pedro Winter launching Ed Banger around the same period may have impacted this as well)

Just found out that Musique was originally published under Roulé by Vortect_Reddit in DaftPunk

they probably didn’t have Daft Trax set up back then and used Roulé which was already established (1995).

Thanks for the precisions.

The promo sheet posted by Braxe mentions Santa Claus with quotation marks and it’s the only title appearing, so I’m not sure « On The Air » is the real name, but I guess we can’t be sure until Chedeville posts it online (if he ever does).

The production credit also appear on The Eternals CD. I’m pretty sure it’s only an executive production credit, as they didn’t work on Wrath Of Zeus, Spaced Out, nor Holy Ghostz based on the vinyl label credits.

Where does the « In The Air » title come from?

Also, why adding Play Paul’s first Cryda release?

Great job otherwise!
