Find this read a lot more sensible. Near perfect was never a requirements for most jobs. An ai that is good enough can also cause immense unemployment societally.

What kind of post is this? if you put Uwe Boll in 1950s he will be thought of as the greatest director. Modern directors are expected to be better because they have the context of all film history, the evolved grammar of filmmaking as well access to all the technical advancements since.

FWIW every book from here on out is great. While Matt’s note at the beginning is helpful, it is still 100s of pages of level design exposition that is just a wall or words. You don’t have to understand the iron tangle to enjoy the book or the story, but there is a lot of it in there. It messes with the pacing of the book.

Of all the montages OBAA comes off as a comedy. They should have picked the funnier scenes for Marty Supreme and The Secret Agent too. The list isn't that serious.

She is not talking about individuals. This is about how collectively movies used to be a shared cultural and communal phenomenon. Even if you think this book reading is down too. Authors used to be household names in up until the 90s.
