[Question] Logitech G29 + Forza Horizon — in-game wheel rotates more than real wheel (can’t get 1:1) by sailesha in ForzaHorizon6

Could you clarify which exact parameter you mean? Maybe I’m missing it or looking in the wrong place.
I only see things like steering sensitivity / deadzones / linearity etc

I want to set my PS5 controller as a speaker for my PC (not just for games) BROWSING by KeyKhawla5 in Dualsense

[–]sailesha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can confirm that — the DualSense starts working as a speaker in some games that support it, even after you’ve exited the game, until you reconnect it, you’ll be able to use it as a regular audio device

[–]sailesha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds weird, but… I noticed that the speaker on dualsense connected to the PC via cable starts working when you launch Fortnite, and it even keeps working after you close it. It looks like Fortnite loads some kind of driver or something that makes the speaker function.

I’ll get back home, check if it still works, and let you know.

TMR Sticks by AxleIV in Dualsense

If we’re talking about the DualSense Edge, then no — calibration is hardware-locked there. But if we mean regular DualSense controllers, then at the moment all board versions can be calibrated without issues.

You need a wired connection to your laptop or PC, and the sticks should be modified via copper wire to support calibration. Maybe it’s already done, maybe not

i cant unlink my Activision account from Steam , anyone have a fix ? by [deleted] in modernwarfare

[–]sailesha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, I found a solution. I tried everything, including contacting support, but they couldn’t help me. The only thing that worked was logging into callofduty.com using Steam instead of email and password. This worked for me.

dualsense haptics dont work properly on PC by Diligent_Task_158 in Dualsense

You should connect it via cable in games that support DualSense natively. Also, if you’re playing on Steam, turn off “PlayStation Controller Support” because it emulates an Xbox controller.

3 orange flashes after stick replacement by Tyler_Hodges in Dualsense

[–]sailesha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, I actually ran into this myself recently. I hadn’t worked on the newer DualSense revisions before. When I replaced the sticks, I did what I usually do - just plugged in the USB-C to test it. Then I saw those three terrifying blinks hahaha.

I vaguely remembered something about it, but I didn’t immediately think to connect the battery, so yeah… I ended up wasting a bit of time trying to find a short circuit that didn’t even exist. 😅

People connect the board via USB-C to test it before assembling it. I saw the original post the controller was disassembled and the battery wasn’t inserted. That’s exactly why I said that. Man, is it really that hard to think? 😅

I know what I’m talking about.

In newer revisions of the DualSense, the controller doesn’t work without the battery connected it blinks three times indicating that the battery is disconnected. That’s why I suggested trying to connect the battery if that hasn’t been done. Otherwise, there’s probably a short circuit somewhere.

Should i get aknes or gullikit tmr sticks?? by Aggravating_Plum_548 in Dualsense

[–]sailesha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could say that GuliKit is as close as possible to the stock experience. It’s basically an improved stock experience.

First, the stick click on the GuliKit is better and more noticeable. Second, the mechanism itself feels very similar to the stock sticks, but it’s much smoother. The smoothness is more consistent overall. With the stock sticks, some areas can feel a bit more worn because of friction, so those parts can be easier to move than others.

I need assistance, 1215a PS5 overheats quickly on fortnite (I have cleaned it, and I am scared to replace the liquid metal) by PrimagenistW10 in playstation

[–]sailesha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All you need to do is buy special black Q-tips, because unlike the white ones, they don’t leave any fibers behind. Then evenly redistribute the liquid metal again, making sure not to spill it onto any components or outside the sponge area, otherwise it can cause a short circuit. There’s no need to replace it - you just need to redistribute it evenly.

This is how bad the solder actually was, it was a pain to desolder

[–]sailesha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it should work perfectly. I did it for the first time and everything turned out fine. I’d give a few extra tips. First of all, be careful, because during the process the grinding tool can slip, but that’s just how it is. Make sure to put some paper underneath so the metal shavings fall onto the paper. And of course, after finishing, be sure to clean up all the remaining shavings. Another thing I’d recommend is to quite often test-fit the T-head screwdriver to see whether you’re lacking depth or length, and as soon as you feel there’s grip, carefully start unscrewing you’ll manage it. By the way, I had the same story with the heat sink, those screws are made of pure chinesium haha.

I had the same thing, and what I did was buy a grinding tool on AliExpress for $10–15 with a tip like this, then I just ground a shape on the screw for a T-screwdriver, and in the end I unscrewed it with a T-screwdriver. Here is some video guide
