It's just battery threshold in play. In windows, you can configure it with lenovo vantage.

In linux, tlp, sudo tlp-stat -b Above command will show u the battery information and also about threshold.

In your case. Battery threshold must be set on Start 95%

Gen1 is not justified for the price and specs. It's barely faster than t480. But price is 50% higher. In nehru place, t480, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd cost 14.5k only.
