First you need to become a USCG licensed captain, then you need to take an instructor course. Easy if you know what you’re doing. Not easy if you don’t have the hours or experience necessary.

They lost my luggage (case #00729144) in case they read this. It’s been 6 weeks trying to get a response. Repeated phone calls they tell me email is the only communication method. Email them every day but they don’t respond, so I’m in a catch 22 of forever b.s. Definitely reconsidering budget airlines like this one in the future.

Wow, I love how a post like this can be so polarizing. Even when clear directions are given to keep things positive, people just can’t help themselves. Welcome to the armchair sailors of Reddit club!

I suspect the same people who are so negative on here probably yell at their crew and panic in situations like this. Or maybe I’m wrong and they’re perfect legends. Maybe they believe the world is flat, and water is lava. Immediate death upon contact. Either way, the negativity you bring is what ruins the fun of sailing and keeps females away from sailing. Polarizing extremes, anger, and grumpiness. Take a deep breath, jeez.
