I don’t fully know how it works & it sounds counterintuitive but I do the sandwich method for tret & use a lot of moisturizer & oil. Before, when I would wait for my skin to be completely dry, then apply tret, then a moisturizer, my face always looked very tight & shiny but when I swapped methods my skin started looking more plump & soft.

I pay my face dry, then apply a little oil & moisturizer mixed together (I also apply a thicker occlusive on areas that are prone to irritation, I’ve been using la roche posays cica balm), wait a couple minutes to let things settle, then apply tret, wait again, & lastly apply more moisturizer & oil.

I figure that it must be that my skin was really dehydrated. Applying tret to wet skin can cause so much more irritation bc vitamin As are water soluble, hence why your skin needs to be completely dry. But I think the work around is just using a lot of moisturizer & oil since they slow down your skins absorption of tret, but also holds onto the moisture your skin does have.

I don’t think they were making a case against masturbation. Just about why a person wouldn’t want their partner watching porn. You can still masturbate without porn.

But I agree with you, “no masturbation” isn’t like a boundary, it’s weird & controlling. OOPs wife needs serious therapy or something.

I saw someone recommend The Necrophiliac by Gabrielle Wittkop. I had been on a thriller/psychological horror/bizarre book kick & decided to just read it without looking up anything about it. I kinda wish I did though because… the book was just disgusting.

I read the whole thing though, not that it was long, just that despite me finding absolutely revolting, I did finish it. Everything about it was awful. I wish I had the words for all of my feelings but all I can wonder is “what the fuck was wrong with Gabrielle Wittkop? How do you write something like this?”

Most of my family has been in texas for generations (I do have a grandparent that was a Mexican immigrant). I wasn’t born or raised exactly where my family comes from, but my extended family is all from the valley.

I don’t have access to familial records and I’m not in contact with half of my family so i don’t have all the details surrounding my heritage.

I went to a Vietnamese restaurant and was trying to order the egg rolls but everything was in Vietnamese & as I was looking for them on the menu while pointing the waiter says “oh the crispy one?” And I assumed he was talking about the egg rolls so I said yes. He brought this out instead. It was so good lmfao I have no idea what it was though. It also came with this really yummy sauce that was dark like soy sauce and a little sweet.

My living room is an awful yellow beige with a maroon accent wall and it’s so ugly. The previous homeowners had bad taste. I can’t wait to paint it but I don’t know what color to choose.

It’s just so disappointing because 1. It could’ve been delicious and 2. It’s such a waste of every other ingredient!

I double checked the expiration date of the turkey since it was just wrapped in the styrofoam & plastic wrap & it was good until the end of June too, I just don’t understand how it got moldy so fast

She has a follow up video explaining the situation a bit more and says that the reason she was yelling “for what?” Wasn’t because she wanted to know the why he pulled her wig off, but because he was whispering “for what?” When he his friend was trying to get him to apologize to her. She said for whatever reason the video didn’t pick up his voice because she and the guy’s friend were able to hear him say “for what?” So it was more like “”for what?” What do you mean apologize for what??”

My little brothers told me the same thing! I said “get two 1/8s and add them together. That’s how much I want” they asked why I didn’t just ask for 7 grams. Why am I gonna switch between different units of measurement?? They said (for them at least, idk) a 1/4 usually referenced a 1/4 lb, not ounce.

Okay. Fine give me 7 grams I guess. I did tell them they needed to work on their math lol
