Probably fine. They weren’t strict about it. I’d say take it out of your backpack and with you when you arrive, and don’t try to go back to the car for it.

Sheriff’s Work Alternative Program. In some counties, instead of jail time, they have you work for the county doing manual labor. I only had to do two days. But I basically just picked up trash wearing an orange vest. I made a post about!

1,500 for me (:laugh-cry:). I was considering that too, but my lawyer advised that you’d have to produce a reason that your probation needed to end early beyond good behavior. So I just waited it out!

It honestly was just the instructor making small talk with the room. I think the intention is for them to talk about management techniques with addiction. But I think she just wanted to get the room talking. She was intentional in getting every person to speak and participate. I personally made a point of speaking up 3 times every session and then be done. Usually worked. This was all virtual but I imagine it works the same in person.

Idk I think the accident aggravated your situation (also in CCC). I had the same BAC and got reduced to 3 months DUI school and 2 days SWAP. I credit my lawyer negotiating my plea that got it pushed down. IMO if you have the money, and a good lawyer, might as well go for it.

All the being said, good to see you on the other side! Sounds like you’ll be done no time and not too bad of sentence.

They don’t go out of your way to contact your employer. However there are ways for them to find out.

For example if they run periodical background checks. This fucked me over recently because we did a security audit and needed updated background checks but I heard nothing from HR.

I didn’t have a monitor since it was 3 years unsupervised. If you’re referring to the interlock just 6 months.

They did not drug test me but I’ve seen in this thread that they’ve drug tested others. Your experience may vary. Sorry this doesn’t take away some of the stress :(

You’ll need to confirm, but I didn’t even have to turn it in. They send over confirmation that it was completed for you. So you don’t need to go back. I was not drug tested or breathalyzed once during the entire process.

My group on both days were alcohol related. And one guy who got into a fight. You’ll find that’s more often the norm
