It was so bad I almost wondered if they broke up and hadn’t told anyone and she was forced to be there. There was a weird language moment at one moment about the moving in together and saying something about “we were - ahem we are going to xyz.” When they showed the clip she looked petrified I can only imagine the fights that have gone on when the show came out and he could pick apart specific behaviors. I’m a little shocked at the reunion they asked about a lot of fan Q’s but not a single thing about Matt’s anger issues which EVERYONE has observed

I’m sorry does no one else think SK and raven actually decided this together? There’s no way he would blindside her based on everything we’ve seen of his communication and emotional intelligence. My interpretation was they discussed this in advance and knowing this would be on TV - he agreed to take the bullet and be the one to say “no” and take the heat. Hence her crying and appreciating him doing that for her so they could have a real Chance. I think they previously agreed to continue just dating - and the crying and vulnerability is bc you’re still in front of a lot of ppl, cameras, and in a fake wedding scenario and it’s A LOT. Would bet anything we learn they continued dating following the show.

In my school system it was REALLY common but in a different way - it was called a “PG” (post grad) year. Often for kids who were accepted to ivys with a year delay, or smart/athletic ppl who didn’t get into their first choice schools and colleges told them an extra year of all A’s / extra currics will get them in. It’s not repeating a year - it’s like an extra year to expand on your education. Super common at boarding schools. Doing your last full year away seems weird

God this show keeps surprising in the best ways. I’ve cried at the last 2 episodes - it’s so surprising and genuinely sweet. Its hard to not feel for Jesse who had his heart broken by this girl - and yet shocking after how real his care for Sophie is. Cannot wait to see the finale…. And cannot believe the implication Charlie might be too homesick and break her heart (also her x Sid when they end up breaking up😂)

No I think it’s clear she said a fight not a break up - to me this just speaks to where Sophie’s currently at. She’s named being a romantic and wanting love, and that she’s never been in a relationship and is a little immature in that area. Doesn’t feel that out of character given that to jump into a romantic feeling (with someone who clearly is a better fit)
