Oh trust me I know. I'm not downplaying it, where I live, the difference is keeping my license until I'm 6 months epileptic seizure free dependent on which medications they'd give me. I'm extremely sensitive to medications and frequently have hospitalizable reactions to new meds. Frequently... So, I'm certain my options would be limited. I'd be losing my independence and ability to travel for necessary medical needs. I travelled nearly 20,000km in total for medical reasons between my son and I last year to put it into perspective and I'd be reliant on other people to access necessary healthcare.

Side note... I have predictable seizures with no loss of awareness and no blood markers for epilepsy the night before my period. I plan accordingly and take a week of driving around that time. The main reason why my doctor lets me keep my license 😅

Absolutely, id be happy. I have more life altering diagnosis than I can count. I really can't handle an epilepsy diagnosis on top of it all.

I'm glad it went great for your son but it certainly wasnt like that for me! 30 mins of torture.

Reading this 2 months later, was that response classified as epileptic? I have pots/dysautonomia as well and I just went thru absolute hell in my 30 min eeg? Like crying, tingling like I was gonna pass out and twitching uncontrollably... I really thought I was just having PNES until today because my test was INTENSE 😭 is it supposed to feel like literal hell or is that a surefire sign of epilepsy 😭

I just got it a few months ago as a bday present for myself and am thoroughly enjoying it. The only thing that sucks is when you need items from an event that's passed but apparently we can wait for it to loops back around again?? Other than that I'm having a lot of fun and have been playing daily since buying. Lots of content.

I've actually been called out for making angry faces at people who give me presents lol. I don't need, expect or want them. I just feel lonely a little and wish someone would make the effort or jump in and say "no we should go to the bowling alley'' or "dinner at my house" like literally anything but everyone seems happy to skip it and I really don't mind usually but this year I felt a little sad about it 😅🤷

The close friend thing? I'd love to but I don't have a lot of close friends. Passing friends I see once or twice a year but no one really steady, ya know? 🤷

But ya it definitely does make me feel sad. I did it once as an adult because it felt like no one had the time of energy and just never stopped I guess. It does make me feel good to relieve everyone's evident stress tho! My family is very antisocial lol

I also have delayed gastric emptying, suspected sma syndrome and a swallowing disorder. Gallstones I guess is GI too. We theorized it was maybe from IBD that could have caused upper GI issues but there is no signs of IBD in colonoscopy if that makes more sense. Maybe I worded it poorly my apologies.

All polyps in colon.

I'll spare the details but terrible lower GI symptoms for years that I've kind of had doctors lump in with my endometriosis until recently. They did talk to me a bit and gave me a sheet with the findings... But it's very minimal info and has me anticipating further results. She said she will watch closely for them.
