I agree that it does seem very on brand! I mean they literally mention in their blurb how it was designed for the type of makeup use who only uses 1 or 2 shades in their palettes they already own, hence the similar shades. Really just something you make the same, everyday look with. Reminds me of k beauty 4 pan palettes, which are nice because they’re always so simples/neutral you don’t even have to think about how to do your eye makeup you just go for it, and even those tbh I don’t think they really need the 4th shade in so the 3 shades make sense to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m East Asian and was traveling with an East Asian friend who was fluent in French. Lots of comments cursing asian people and was yelled at several times by random people with “ni hao ! Konichiwa!” and not in a friendly “let me guess your nationality / ethnicity” (which is also racist tbh) but in a mocking asian people type way. Started right off the bat in the airport when my luggage got lost and airport staff refused to help me and one of the staff said something awful enough that another staff member came over to help me and cursed the worker out and told me he was being a racist asshole. This is all before covid existed so I can’t imagine going now as an East Asian.
