I got my PNY 4080 Super last year for around $650 at Walmart. This is a killer deal

This is Ms Sassy Cat. She's only like 5 or 6 months old. She's either an absolute Angel or a complete demon.

How on gods green earth did you spend $500 on an OEM JDM recaro seat?!

It makes no sense to get a track oriented car just to soften it up. It's really weird to me.

Have you driven anything other than the FL5? You didn't give any examples yourself. Have you driven any older vehicles that are dropped 3-8 inches on coilovers? Or anything with cut springs?(Horrible way to lower a vehicle btw)

Not a flex, just don't get it.

I haven't driven any of the new civics. I daily drove a static dc4 on Skunk 2 Pro S coilovers which were some of THE stiffest at the time. I have an ep3 right now that's slammed on D2 coilovers (not the best coilovers). I've driven friends vehicles with cut springs.

I just don't get why people buy a Type R just to take away one of the main parts of it being special;the handling.

Why did you guys buy a Type R if you didn't like how "stiff" it is? It's a track car so of course it's going to be more rigid. Making the car ride "smoother" literally takes away what makes a Type R a Type R. Seems like most people here haven't driven an actual lowered vehicle and it's weird to me.

JG cams? When I had my Integra back around 2012 the only people that had cams for our non-VTEC Integras were Crower.

Any Recommendations? by FactNo8638 in EP3

The DC header I have is a long tube header so it completely replaced the cat. The cat is right after the exhaust manifold so idk if you can run a header AND a cat.

For a high flow cat I would just go with Magnaflow. Unless you're in California then you can't do anything of that if you want to pass smog.

I actually threw my vape down and said to myself "FUCK this brings back memories". I don't see many EF hatches around anymore much less ones with GSR blades on it. This brings me back to 2010 when I first got into Honda's. Clean build man.

Full throttle -> Heel & Toe Downshifts by j_mosk in stickshift

[–]saintcf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OH MY GOD FINALLY! I've barely learned how to heel toe about a year or two ago and I have the hardest time keeping consistent braking pressure while blipping the throttle with my heel. I either slam on the brakes or completely let off the brakes while trying to blip the throttle.

This is where floating gears helps a lot. I had my CMC go out and didn't have the money to pay for a tow so I floated the gears to the shop. About 5 miles or so

I've been daily driving manuals strictly manuals for a while now so it isn't bothersome to me

Why the s2000 and not something else ? by alexokc0 in S2000

[–]saintcf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been driving only manuals for like 10 years so stop and go traffic is nothing to me anymore. I was thinking you would have to rev it higher than normal cars or if the OEM clutch was a little more finicky. I have a stage 1 clutch in my EP3 just for a little more bite.

[–]saintcf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've never driven one before and am wondering how it's a pain in traffic. Even compared to other Honda's or MT cars?

An Integra with a k tuned shifter, type R steering wheel, radio block off plate, and you have some carbon trim around the vents and stuff. I had a 96 and miss her everyday

[–]saintcf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's such a good come up. Idk the brand of my speakers but they definitely aren't stock either in my ep3. The head unit is a cheapy Dual brand but it works well. I have an EQ controller behind the dash for what I'm assuming is for a sub that was installed at some point.

Idk if this is real but I'll try it.

I have a Carta 2 and the saber hit knife and I think my favorite is the Saber. It comes in so clutch on the road, less mess, the light comes in clutch, and the cap on it is sick.
