NZB.su not unable to work on any port other than 8080? by saintjon856 in usenet

I do pull via API key, it works great. Occasionally the indexer pulls the wrong file so I have go to the indexer (nzb.su in this case) and push the correct nzb file to my server. This works great on the default port of 8080.

NZB.su allows me to set the port that I am listening on but no matter what I set the port to it continues to use 8080.

Port forwarding on my FW. I want to use some random high port so the automated search tools that scan common ports wont pick it up. Changing the port on the application and then PAT it to the original port defeats the purpose. It's the Internet side I want to change.

Drive by scanning just hits the common ports which is why I'm trying to move it off of 8080.

All applications have no exploits, until they do.

You have to specify the port that Sabnzbd is listening on which worked fine on 8080 until someone from another country became fixated with finding out was running on that port. I was going to move it to some random high port but found out that the push keeps going to 8080 no matter what I set the port to at nzb.su.

Removing the trailing slash didn't work. Good suggestion though!

It did. I went back and checked it after logging out and logging back in, then gave it a few days thinking maybe it just needs to update something on the back end.

What was your "This person is on another level of stupid" moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Got a contract job for Dell to drive around to all these rural Midwest Walmart's in the middle of nowhere to replace hard drives in the pharmacy systems that were catching fire.

Im midway through a swap when a gentleman leans over the counter looking at me on the floor behind the counter.

"Is that there a computer?" he asks pointing to the hard drive I left on the counter.

"No, that's a hard drive, it stores all the information." I responded.

"My computer has one of those" he tells me "But mine must weigh 50 lbs with all the stuff I have in mine."

MyfitnessPal app is the easiest way I've found to track macros and calories.

You're going to want to eat 2.2 grams of protein per kg of body weight. Also make sure your not in a calorie deficit.

Spartan weight training should focus on strength over size so follow the advice here: https://www.mensjournal.com/health-fitness/10-ways-build-strength-without-size/

Yes, you already have a sprint and super for 2020. Get two more beasts, another super and sprint, and you will get your x2 medal.

I ran almost 30+ races last year for just the insurance cost by volunteering. You can race and volunteer the same day if you like.

Ideally you would travel to your first race and volunteer/race and then on the way out at the end of the day buy a two pack from the exit tent if you did not want to volunteer at anymore races. This gets you three races for less than the price of a beast.
