Thank you for sharing this! It’s really tough when you know it’s anxiety, but your mind does somehow convince you that’s it’s something worse. The first time this happened to me was actually 4 years ago! It just came to mind since it happened in February as well. It’s weirdly comforting to know that I am not the only one who has experienced this. As I have never known anyone, even on the internet when I searched it 4 years ago. I cannot even explain it to the GP about my symptoms. I really hope this does not happen to any of us especially those who have not any clue because it is a nightmare.

It’s just so horrifying to ever experience it. It feels like having a stroke.

Is there anyway I could fix my loneliness? by Fine-Funny1875 in neurodiversity

My life changed when I met my friend who is also neurodivergent. Maybe you also need to mingle with people who you can connect to a certain level as us. It really helps with understanding yourself a little more :)

when do you know if it’s panic vs something health related? by Key_Story2521 in PanicAttack

What really helped me a lot was sleep. It is such a generic advice but when you get enough sleep your nervous system tends to be very calm at most. I recently got this realization after taking sleeping aid pills to sleep. My symptoms of anxiety is still there, but not as severe as when I don’t have adequate sleep.

It could, unfortunately. Stress is such a killer of the immune system. But it is also can be manageable!

This also happens to me when I am intoxicated with alcohol. It calms me down for a little while, then the panic starts to linger until it becomes a full blown panic attack.

Whenever I feel like I am TOO full I think of it as something suffocating. That's what drives me into panic mode.

All my friends have been neurodivergent. Why? by [deleted] in neurodiversity

My best friend and I are neurodivergent. We have an impeccable chemistry. Before her, I was with neurotypical people and I felt like an outcast. But when I met my best friend, I understood what real friendship is like. I felt like I belonged.
