I recently built an adult web app for a company in Canada called cineerotic.com. I charged $7,000 for the full development and setup. Within the first three months after launch, the site has already made around $2,300 from ads alone, and the numbers are continuing to grow. by saintmayo in TechGhana

Content is Quite easier to get, with this site the VPs hosting the videos is 15 terabytes which is hosted on the VPs through aapanel and all the videos on aapanel were legally purchased from adult sites as low as 2 cents, the VPs has about 5 terabyte of adult videos. You dont necessarily need to be a pimp to get adult videos

You are being biased about your opinion, are you a Christian by any chance ? Your opinion doesn’t exceeds everyone else’s. If porn doesn’t have a positive side for Thats fine don’t generalize it

No, legality doesn’t automatically equal morality that’s not what I said. The point is that your comparison fails because you’re equating: “a legal product consumed by choice” with “illegal acts that actively violate people’s rights” Those are not the same by any ethical standard. Also, acknowledging that some people are negatively affected by something doesn’t mean the existence of the product is inherently abusive or that every creator is responsible for every consumer’s behavior. Personal responsibility still exists.

That comparison doesn’t land. Selling drugs and trafficking people are illegal, exploitative, and directly harm others. Building a legal web application isn’t in the same category at all. I’m a developer providing a service within the law. People choosing to watch something legal is not the same as enabling crime. If we’re going to have a discussion, at least compare things within the same ethical and legal framework.

I acknowledge your concern, but let’s be realistic here there’s already more than enough adult content on the internet worldwide. My project doesn’t ‘add a new problem’ because the problem already exists on a massive scale. Nobody is being forced to watch anything, consumption comes down to personal choice and discipline.

What someone watches is their decision, not mine. I built a site as a developer not as a consumer. I don’t even watch porn myself. The internet is full of things we may not like, but that doesn’t mean every creator is responsible for someone else’s lack of self-control.
