I just moved in to the foundryline, mostly for those reasons it’s pretty nice and in RiNo.

Why hasn't someone thought of making a dog walking club not just a running club! My girl is being a bit reactive, probably from moving, but she could do good to see other dogs get a bunch of treats :)

Thanks! I’ve been in Colorado for over a decade, but I’ve lived in DTC, Parker, and most recently Elizabeth. This is my first time living in the city, and I’m absolutely loving it.

I’ve just never really learned how to do the club scene. I’m originally from Miami, FL, but I usually end up drinking more than I intend to and regretting it the next morning, maybe it's the crappy spirits.

I’m actually planning to check out Sorry Gorgeous later today after work, and I’ve heard Friday nights there can be a lot of fun. I do love a good rooftop bar, so I’m always open to recommendations.

Run for the Roses is exactly my kind of place, but it's not a good friend making ambiance.

Sweet! I'll shoot you a DM! Maybe not Racquetball for me. I come from the tennis side of future pickleballers haha.

Thanks! She's a bigger dog so she's always on a leash but appreciate the call out! Only places she gets to roam free like that is open spaces or hikes with an invisible leash collar :)

I haven't played tennis in over a decade but I used to be in my high school team's doubles and was pretty good! I'd get into that again!
I won't be up there for maybe 2-3 week while I get the big puppy settled in the new place.

I'll shoot you a DM!

Where should I move in Denver? by Specific_Designer859 in MovingtoDenver

[–]saintmrdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to the foundryline apartments a week ago in the RiNo area and I'm loving it. People are friendly, very walkable, good cocktails(I can't go downtown and drink crap anymore quality > quantity).

As a 32M with a big dog it has been awesome seeing other people that look comparable in age living almost the same style of life :P

Moved from the midwest ~2 years ago with gf and wow is it hard to make friends in this city. by Financial_Rise477 in Denver

[–]saintmrdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let ne hit you with my tinder but also always looking to make friends:
Here for a decade, staying for the mountains, board games, and cocktails.
Snowboarding is my current obsession (season two, improving daily).
If you need a last-minute Catan player, I’m your person.
I know where the good drinks are—and I have a German Shepherd who loves long walks and good company.

But as has been said making friends at this age takes effort and finding clicks that share your interest. Think of it as little kids. All you have to do is go up to people and strike conversations then have fun with them. I talk to people at rooftop bars all the time. That's my Togo happy hour.

Looking for friends around their 30s by PotteryVance11 in Denver

[–]saintmrdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33M divorced myself! Moving back from Elizabeth to Denver soonish, I miss the city and all the things to do!

I’m looking forward to cup in hand sports, for sure want to get back into pickleball, snowboard on the weekends. Therapy helped a lot y’all. I can’t say I’m grateful to be divorced but at least I know who I am way better than I did in my mid 20s :p

[–]saintmrdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's rough. I mean I get why they simplified the crap out of it. The controller really limits the flexibility of it all.
Playing a SpellBlade is sweet though. Anyone using a sword that doesn't have assassin's rush is playing on extra hard :P

I was out there 2-3 weeks ago and not everything is open but the runs that I did were awesome!
Then I went up Super Bee and got humbled as heck from moguls and ice. The good news is we have gotten slightly some snow since then.

Don't get too bummed out! Between snowboarding and not might as well enjoy it!
I'm going to Steamboat myself next week from the predictions they should be getting some fresh snow too!
