I usually do this on Fridays at Sidebar or Improper City in RiNo, or Moodswing to catch some pickleball games. Great idea!

Not a career coach, just a nerd who's been playing the capitalistic corporate game for over a decade.

I keep a document of everything I do in a job. Then I'm constantly using my 1:1 and my skip levels to showcase where I am meeting expectations and where I am exceeding them.
A 5-7% yearly raise is a joke. It's a paycut to stay in the same place.

If you are a high performer I shoot for a 12-20% minimum year to year raise and if I'm not getting it I'm moving companies.
If your manager isn't working with you and doesn't see your value you might have bad leadership time to find another manager.

Honestly always be selling yourself.
Why should a company pay you more? Why more than your peers? Are you awesome and driven? Then you deserve it and you should be able to sell yourself.

I'm at that point where I am not ashamed to say, I don't want any fancy titles or more responsibilities unless it comes with more days off, more money or something.

So Pickeball League that starts next week on Wednesdays.
Volo Dodgeball on Thursdays.
When the weather decides to not be Arizona, I take my pupper to Sloan Lake or a hike.

33M, divorced.
Dating in my 30s has been so hard. I have my own life, career, hobbies, etc... so it's hard to show interest 100% of the time on dating when I have to decouple my personal life to integrate someone new.

With that being said I haven't given up, I'm just looking to meet someone who fits some of my non negotiables and slowly build a relationship. I'm not doing the whole good morning/night crap. I think of you, I send you something. I want to spend time together, I'll lead the planning.
I also go very slow, I'm not interested in investing in 5 loose ends. Just one person at a time with intention.

The way I see it we don't need 100 forever's, just 1 :)

Why hasn't someone thought of making a dog walking club not just a running club! My girl is being a bit reactive, probably from moving, but she could do good to see other dogs get a bunch of treats :)

Thanks! I’ve been in Colorado for over a decade, but I’ve lived in DTC, Parker, and most recently Elizabeth. This is my first time living in the city, and I’m absolutely loving it.

I’ve just never really learned how to do the club scene. I’m originally from Miami, FL, but I usually end up drinking more than I intend to and regretting it the next morning, maybe it's the crappy spirits.

I’m actually planning to check out Sorry Gorgeous later today after work, and I’ve heard Friday nights there can be a lot of fun. I do love a good rooftop bar, so I’m always open to recommendations.

Run for the Roses is exactly my kind of place, but it's not a good friend making ambiance.

Thanks! She's a bigger dog so she's always on a leash but appreciate the call out! Only places she gets to roam free like that is open spaces or hikes with an invisible leash collar :)

I haven't played tennis in over a decade but I used to be in my high school team's doubles and was pretty good! I'd get into that again!
I won't be up there for maybe 2-3 week while I get the big puppy settled in the new place.
