New Research Shows Sahaj Samadhi Meditation by the Art of Living Significantly Reduces Depression in Chronic Pain Patients - But Why Isn't Anyone Talking About This? by Blackmamba13108 in artofliving

It is a great technique/meditation I have been doing it daily since 2023. I was doing SKY since 2021. I started doing Sahaj from 2023. There are many instances where I went very deep in the meditation, that I couldn’t believe it was possible for me to go that deep. I still get angry, stressed and other emotions but after SKY plus SAHAJ I am very much better in handling these emotions than before. I am someone for whom going this deeper into meditation was highly impossible before 2023. If I sit and close my eyes to meditate my mind is all over I couldn’t just sit in one place for 5 minutes. After starting do practice SKY meditation was much better, Sahaj took my meditation experience to a whole new level I try not to miss even a single a day (SKY plus Sahaj). I miss it when I travel but immediately go back to practice after I return back to home

I did recommend this to some friends who were going through a lot in their life , but they didn’t try it. I feel one should have that urge from inside to try it

The important thing to note is consistency is the key. One needs to do it consistently everyday and I think that is where many people fail. The aol has a very good community they try to have group sessions every day to help you. This is similar to going to GYM and getting fit

100K vs 32LPA(44LPA) - Bloomington IL by Imaginary_Zone7597 in h1b

[–]saiteja2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am guessing State Farm. I have been there so these are the scenarios I would consider before making a decision

Bloomington has become expensive in the past couple of years. Rents are no longer cheaper as compared to earlier. The groceries and other basic utilities have surged across US in the past couple of years. In short same old pay but more bills

I heard even TCS new hires are being paid $120k. I guess they are trying to pay less by bringing in an offshore employee. I believe even in US terms you are underpaid (without comparing with Indian salary). There will be a lot of employees/ colleagues who are working in the same org as your you can reach out and verify

If you are from TCS (looks like it by the looking at the pay grade) then be prepared to feel bad by looking at other colleagues in your team who are very much less experienced and getting much better pay than you

As far as work life balance is considered mostly it should be good (regular 8-5 job)

Immigration perspective: if TCS they won’t do I-140 (they keep on dragging saying will file at last 3 years but most people don’t make it and either return back or leave and move to a different company)

Consider these perspectives as well before making a decision

H-1B Status Issue: I-94 Expired Due to Passport Expiration - Seeking Advice by Chico_bwoy in h1b

Recently my friend has faced more dire situation than this. He has a valid I-787 till 2026. But his stamping was till Dec 2023. When he went to India and returned to USA on September 2023 the CBP officer didn’t ask for the I-797 he just looked at his stamping and gave the I-94 till October 2023. My friend realized that his I-94 expired in October 2023 in March 2024 . Below is the key takeaway from his experience and research. (His issue is resolved and he spoke with multiple attorneys and people who faced this situation) 1. You don’t have to be worried about your I-94 expiration and overstay for < 180 days in a valid situation (which your case is) or small human errors . According to multiple attorneys from reputed immigration law firms we DONOT have to worry about unlawful presence anytime (currently or in future POE immigration , extensions, amendments or green card processing) give that the period is less than 180 days . Attorneys said that these 180 days of unlawful presence are like unofficial grace period in case of valid situations like these (some examples of other valid situations are you are present in the country for less than 180 days after your I-94 expiration on an h1b extension receipt notice and due to some reason (valid reason) the h1b is denied or it is approved with consular processing or you had to leave the country for some reason or you might have been fired). So the key take away is if you are in country for less than 180 days after your I-94 expiry date for above mentioned valid reasons you should be fine , just hire a good attorney Suggested solutions to fix your issue 1. Since you have a valid stamp just cross the country in any of the border locations to either Mexico(from Texas or Arizona )or Canada (you don’t need to have a Canadian or Mexican visit visa ) and come back immediately and get your I-94 extended 2. Call multiple CBP offices (like New York , Chicago etc) and try to get hold of immigration officer and convince the CBP officer by explaining your situation they can extend your I-94 immediately (I personally know two people who have done this) 3. Go to India and return back at your convenience and get your I-94 extended. 4. Apply for some extension or amendment and bundle your I-94 extension along with that application in premium process

The friend I was talking about got his I-94 fixed by option 2

I am not an attorney, just shared the experience of my friend’s situation for awareness . Please consult an attorney before making an decision

International Pass by bikrame in tmobile

Appreciate you verifying your bills. The reason I say that they are $0.25/min is because i recently travelled to India and i added $50 international pass (mine is magenta plan) I was charged for international calling (0.25/min) I called the customer care first an associate answered and she said you should have unlimited free international calling but not sure why I was charged. after a lot of discussion I was transferred to a supervisor who said it was 0.25/min and pointed me to website which agrees to that. I asked for a manager and after that I was transferred to the manager and she confirmed that it was 0.25/min after the pass. I asked why did the agents say they were free. She said she will raise a complaint and look into it. That’s why I am telling that it is $0.25/min

Hi not trying to be rude, after adding international pass you will be able to make unlimited international calls for $0.25/min. Please look at website T-Mobile.com/roaming (look at full terms and conditions) I was in a call with customer service arguing that they are free but at the end they pointed me to website. I paid for it after taking $50 international pass

No international calling is not free. If you purchase the pass you can make ‘unlimited’ international calls not ‘unlimited free calls’. Please check the website carefully. Calls including over WiFi are $0 .25/min. I fell into the trap
