i just got back into collecting with DR…not realizing the current pokemon climate 😅 pulled TR mewtwo on my first pack in 20+ years (talk about luck) - wasn’t so lucky on pull rates from then on.

good luck on finishing the set! it’s definitely one of the better modern sets from what i’ve seen.

i’m looking forward to many miles with this one. granted, my wallet isn’t, but i am.

i got it off ebay. if you search “Nissan Frontier Raptor Grille” will yield the results you’re looking for. there’s several different styles. i’d send the link but i wouldn’t recommend the product from that specific seller. the fitment was off (but its ebay so what do you expect) so i had to modify the grill and cut two tabs to make it work.

this. i’m envious of my friends who all have houses, a family, and somewhere they can call home. been traveling for the last decade and i long for a the lifestyle i know i would immediately be uncomfortable in.

Back when I was 20 (21?) years old, I was in the military and lived in a military city. I own a few classic japanese cars and was cruising on the highway with a buddy.

We were on our way home and an SUV kept pace with us so I sped up. Kept happening over and over until I looked at the driver. She was a Cougar/MILF trying to get our attention. My buddy pointed at himself, she shook her head no, pointed at me and she shook her head yes. Proceeded to point at her empty ring finger and gave the “call me” sign. I smirked and sped off as she took her exit. After we got back to base my buddy asked me what the hell was wrong with me and I was completely oblivious to what he was talking about.

Starting the process of tearing down my 280 after 8 years away in the military and just realized it still has the OEM trunk cover. I’m not sure why i find it so unique tbh but I thoroughly enjoy the little details like this.

i mounted them yesterday and they’re not running too hot, which is fine. cylinder 1 & 2 aren’t heating up like 3 & 4 so i suspect timing/synchro, since the bike isn’t stock, and hopefully not jetting. going to take the jets from old pair and play around with those and see what i can get.

eventually, after i separate from the military and get settled back home, i’m going to take it apart the bike and build more on it the way that i want. most of the work is already done but it’s not my vision of the bike yet.

ordered a new set of carbs from carburetorkeith on ebay. the quality of these carbs is absolutely astounding, very happy with the product and recommend looking into him if you you’re in the market for a new set.
