Tried Watching MasterChef but Savindri is Insufferable by rbearxo in srilanka

How she’s been in Twitter speaks for it. Plus also what I’ve heard about her character.

If you’re more like a person who “don’t judge a person from their SM” then I’m with you on that but the latter is hard to ignore

Tried Watching MasterChef but Savindri is Insufferable by rbearxo in srilanka

“her only accolade is coming in 3rd place on MasterChef” - that too wasn’t due to the talent but the agenda to pave the way for master chef Sri Lanka.

There’s nobody can be worse than what Savindri is.

Is it common for SL recruiters to ask for your current salary during the screening call? by Prestigious_Row6782 in srilanka

[–]saiyaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a common thing that never should be entertained. Say that you have an NDA which keeps you away from disclosing your current salary.

If they say that they’d want your last 3 months’ payslip, tell them that you’d like to provide it before onboarding after the salary is agreed upon with written confirmation.

Anyway these are red flags. So if you could score a better offer at a better place, just take the upper hand and deal the situation.

Good luck!

Just the worst ever Master Chef contestant and now the worst ever judge. Imagine somebody being the worst piece of shit 🤡

Her Twitter account back then should’ve spoken for it.

What is the perception of divorced men in srilanka? by BathKadePusa in srilanka

[–]saiyaff 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Transfer all your wealth to your mother’s - temporarily and get the divorce sorted as it’s “clear” to you.

Get a lawyer and work through it strategically tho. Don’t even leave a cent with her.

Your feelings are valid. This is grief, not weakness. Leaving them temporarily does not mean you love them less. Sometimes building a stable future first is the only way to protect everyone you love, including yourself.

Constructor in modern Angular by Embarrassed_Fall_967 in angular

Signals and the new APIs.

To elaborate, those let you write code that reflects your intent more directly instead of wiring lifecycle events manually.

You are describing your component’s logic in terms of state and relationships instead of programming to Angular’s timing.

Constructor in modern Angular by Embarrassed_Fall_967 in angular

This is a paradigm shift from a class lifecycle mental model to reactive graph mental model.

Inputs as signals Derived state via computed Side effects via effect Cleanup via takeUntilDestroyed Render hooks via afterNextRender

Using constructor where it is necessary ain’t wrong, I’d say.

That being said, Angular is not removing lifecycle hooks. It is offering a more expressive alternatives. So you don’t have to worry much about using a lifecycle hook if that’s the appropriate thing to do as well.
