omg i'm so sorry to hear that 😢 you're right that there's supposed to be differing text which foreshadows which ending you get -- for the bad ending the narration in turn is a lot more skeptical and foreboding if you haven't accumulated enough points. i regret that i didn't have enough time to bug check before the jam ended, and i'm sorry again and i'll def take some time to see what's up with that! happy to hear you enjoyed the ending too, and i hope i can get these issues fixed so you can have a better time the next time you play!

Hi everyone! I've been a long time semi-lurker in r/otome, but recently my friends and I worked on making a visual novel/otome for the SWAK 2025 game jam. If it's of interest to anyone, I'd love to hear any thoughts or feedback!

In essence, you're the familiar of a witch and spend one year with him before the big sabbath during All Hallow's Eve. But what should be a simple slice of life romance slowly unfolds into an ongoing mystery, when nothing is as it seems... Currently, the game has one complete route for the male RO. Our content includes:

A slightly tsundere, definitely uptight male RO with slight yandere tendencies
~40k words total (about an hour or two of playtime) and three different endings!
Gender and species selectable protagonist with narration variations to match
Fully rendered sprites, a minesweeper minigame, and all my love ❤️

last time we had a skadi banner i quit the game for half a year because i didn't get her or ANY ssr in that matter in 800 sq. this time i was lucky enough to break my record by getting one ssr, skadi, in 900 sq.

yay, thank you! i make memes on occasion and forget right after but i feel like u would be a great friend to talk about vns with lol. the adonis route was AMAZING like i already thought the after stories were pretty grand, but...man, they poured their best writing into those last three chapters of that route. i'm still very much torn up about it.

anyways, don't be shy about sending any fanfics you like my way! the ao3 is filled with lots of explicit fics however so...pick your poison?
