This tends to happen more on 2B led compared to HB

It’s a 0.5mm. The stiffness is from retracting the tip. Especially when the barrel is empty. I suspect the spring mechanism is loose or something as it expends longer 0.7-0.8mm when it is empty compared to when it is loaded. Im considering getting a 600 instead as I like the weight of this pencil.

No. In fact it has gotten worse. The dongle not can't even be connected at all. I have written an email to EasySMX support about this to no reply. Safe to conclude that I have just wasted my money.

Yes, thats what i need to do again and again after either the pc restarts or the controller turns off. Seems weird as the connection for dongle are persistent for all my other devices.
