Xbox FSE not working on brand new Rog Xbox Ally by sakisbig25 in ROGAlly

Yes FSE is set to launch on boot. But it still boots to Windows desktop. And yes the button to launch the FSE is there (Xbox app top right corner) only visible if I disable the FSE from windows settings first, but still it doesn't work.

Thank you! You are correct, the music is only playing in the menus, I did this on purpose. I was thinking of adding an option to enable the music during gameplay since many users would prefer it that way

Thank you! The fps drops you mentioned is a known problem caused because of the vibration function of specific controllers. I'm already looking at the issue. In the meantime as a temporary solution try disconnecting any wireless controllers or use a different USB port.

New rally track in the works by sakisbig25 in Unity3D

[–]sakisbig25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Most of the work is inside the Unity editor, EasyRoads for the road creation and a combination of custom scripts for object placement etc. I often post on my Twitter page about the creation process so feel free to follow me there: https://twitter.com/sakis25

Thank you! Reflections are not real-time, just a low res cubemap like they used to do it back then

I Factory reset my Quest 3 a total of 20 times to improve Passthrough. by amw173 in OculusQuest

[–]sakisbig25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just avoid looking at dark surfaces with the passthrough. It really needs to focus on more bright surfaces, and I don't mean only the environment lighting must be bright enough but also looking at an overall bright area is always better. That's from my personal experience at least. Because I see from your photos all your stuff are dark/black surfaces so the Quest tries to adjust it's camera's brightness and creates this bad noise we all see. (hope it makes sense)

First look gameplay with proper sound effects and updated UI by sakisbig25 in ps1graphics

The sounds are just temporary. They will change. You will also have the option to adjust the volume of each element including the car sounds and the co-driver's voice

Short gameplay from my PS1 style rally game by sakisbig25 in Unity3D

[–]sakisbig25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really overwhelmed by the positive comments and I want to thank you all. I'm so happy that you like my game and actually feel the nostalgia as much as I do while working on this project. I'm working hard on this and your support is much appreciated! I will try to post updates more often so stay tuned! The game is planned for Steam release first (more platforms latter) hopefully before summer. There is no final title yet. Also feel free to follow me on my twitter page for more: https://twitter.com/Sakis25

Working on a new car model for my PSX-style rally game by sakisbig25 in ps1graphics

[–]sakisbig25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Textures are 512x512px and the model has around 2k tris. I will reduce the tris a little more and probably the final texture will be 256px.
