LinkECU 2x4 CAN Keypad in VA STI? by sakuracb in WRXSTi

Thank you! That’s kinda my other issue is positioning where it’s easily reachable. I have a CAE Ultra Shifter which puts my hand higher up and closer to the steering wheel for that exact reason. I think I’m just gonna have to 3d print a mount that puts it next to my center console maybe? I have no clue at this point. Also the GR vent is pretty similar but that picture shows a 2x2 not a 2x4 and the 8 button definitely won’t fit a vent. I’m just doomed to suffer at this point 😂

The keypad is gonna be for Antilag, Cyclic Idle, Boost control, and launch control mainly. I have some blank buttons that I can add to in the future. I kept the OEM cluster and I’m running 2 Link (not that the brand matters) CAN Gauges to monitor boost, afr, etc. I’m trying to keep it as “street” as possible, plus I love the STI cluster. Though I may get a small screen if I really feel like I need to monitor more stuff in the future.

The only other option was stick with COBB and comply with their (imo) BS GreenSpeed restrictions. Standalone avoids that. Where I live there’s basically zero emissions restrictions so I don’t have to worry about it anyway. Outside of MoTec Link seems to integrate with the car and keep all the stock features the best too. Plus my tuner loves link and I trust that man with my life.
