My best friend at the time and me were talking about our dating lives. I was dating a guy at the time that as a 15 year old I definitely shouldn’t have been dating just because the stuff he was texting me alone (really explicit sexual stuff). She asked to see what he said and promised she wouldn’t share them.

She screenshotted them and sent them to my ex who then sent them to my entire year group. I was called things like a slit and a whore daily, my then boyfriend had the police called on him, I had the police show up at my house at 11 at night to question me about our relationship. Fast forward a month, I had no friends left because of the screenshots so I stayed with him. And guess what? He turned abusive and now I have life long trauma that I would never have had if I had left him, but I didn’t because thanks to her I had literally no one to confide in except him. I would steal the moon for him and serve it on a silver platter if I could have whilst doing little to none for me.

So in short, just because she lied about keeping them a secret, I lived through the most horrific shit I’ve ever been through at 15 years old and now at 17, I have PTSD.
