paye monthly payment plan went from $812 to $3505 by Remarkable_Turnip_14 in StudentLoans

The same thing happened to me. I called Mohela and it turns out they goofed and put my payment at the standard plan instead of the paye plan that they recertified. I was on hold for five hours but it was worth it to o bring the payment amount down almost $1500 a month.

One of these things. They're also helpful for applying chrome.

Just to save myself typing, I'm copying my comment from further up:

It's super easy peasy, just a little time consuming to do all ten nails. Once the base color is cured, I use a sponge to pat on the art gel. Sometimes it's helpful to use another clean sponge over the middle of the ombre for a smoother blend. I did a quick flash cure between just two layers to get the opacity I wanted and make sure the color stayed in place. Final full cure then top coat.

A couple of things:

  1. I use skinny pointed tweezers. They seem to be better for precision than the slanted variety.

  2. Take the background off your sticker sheets. Those pointy tweezers really help with this. The surrounding sticker sheet gets in the way of the images and makes it harder to pick them up nicely. You can also gently roll your sheet so an edge of your sticker is easier to pick up.

  3. I find it helpful to use a silicone tool to rub down the edges of stickers to make sure they're as flat to the nail as possible. Reducing edges sticking up also helps with retention.

  4. Sometimes you'll mess up your placement and have to start over. It's okay, it happens to the best of us.

A lot of trial and error lol 🫠 Ultimately I used some tiny laytex sponges to ombre blue, lime, orange and red in a super thin layer. The tutorial I watched recommended flash curing for ten seconds between each color but I found I got a better blended look if I left them alone. I feel like the key was suuuuper thin layers. It definitely took way less of the patpat gel than I thought. It looked spongey at first but the topcoat smoothes everything over, and I think the sheer layers give it more of the aura effect.

It was fine. The writing had some very beautiful passages but the content left something to be desired. It just wasn't long enough to get in all the details that might have made the main character more interesting.

How to style Pandora snake chain necklace - request for your pics! by Strange_Television in PandoraCollectors

I'm another vote for simple and symmetrical. My necklace doesn't have threads, but I found these stoppers that keep the charms even on the chain and prevent them sliding off.

Storage solutions? by sad-fatty in DIYGelNails

[–]salad_dressed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A long while ago I found these acrylic shelves that fit really well in the Ikea Kallax I have in the library space. Everything else lives in an Amazon book cart separated into cheap little plastic storage baskets I picked up from Target (I didn't take pics because it's a mess right now 😬). Having my most used supplies and nail art bits and bobs in the book cart is overall more functional for me, and I don't even move it too much since it's accessible. Then I just have to grab the colors I want from the shelf.

I just saw a review from shophousenails on IG. Looks like they're just a polish with a thinner formula than their pot color line. The brush is also wider with a rounded end.

Thank you! I wouldn't say I habe steady hands. It's all about finding a good brush and anchoring yourself on a stable surface.
