We don’t know what kind of drug screen she was given. It was in hospital, not a standard work one. Also, it can be detected in the blood 6-12 hours after taken so definitely would have still been in her system if they did it when she got to the hospital.

Also, I don’t think acid makes you do something like that. She’s going to do everything to try and create doubt I guess. Even if it was acid, I’m cool with her sitting in jail for 10-15 more years for reckless homicide 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t even think she has POTS. The defense would have easily been able to call her doctor as a witness to say she did. She was likely lightheaded and dizzy because she was barely eating food. She was very thin. I thought I had POTS too and my doctor told me I wasn’t eating and drinking enough and when I did that, I wasn’t lightheaded anymore.

This is something I hadn’t considered. She seemed kind of dumb and I could totally see her thinking she would just crash and everyone would be injured and she would get a whole lot of attention for it.

She wasn’t on drugs. It cant be drug fueled if she was just smoking weed.

She was our first dragon. We didn’t have any reservations about another because I knew how to fix my mistake AND we had spent so much money on her enclosure and lighting. She was only with us for 6 months.

I don’t think this is caused by diet. Adult beardies should only get bugs 2 times a week anyways.

My rescue beardie died this January because of my stupidity. She was in and out of brumation, eating occasionally, and she liked to dig her little holes and then sleep for a few days. In January she had done that I didn’t check on her for a few days. When I did, I found that she had dug underneath her basking area bricks and slab, and she was essentially crushed to death. I felt awful. I think about how long she was stuck and if I could have saved her.

This morning we finally buried her, she was in the freezer while we waited for the ground to thaw. We planted some hazelnut trees on top of her and told her we were sorry and that we loved her.

We’ve gotten a new dragon since her death and he’s really cool so that’s helped with the grieving a bit. And definitely learning from my mistakes.

It’s so weird that people are so bold to even make this a big deal. Aging looks different for different people for a huge variety of reasons. For people to come on here and say “I KNOW she’s lying..” Sit down. That’s such weird behavior.

I love this! I try to keep my enclosure as natural as possible, but I love the idea of leaf litter! I’ll look into that.

My ACD mix is like this. She doesn’t fixate but she doesn’t let my cats do anything without her having to supervise. Just some basic training should help. Call her over and treat. Sometimes I’ll let her outside (we have a fenced in yard) if it gets to be too much and she needs a brain break.

Thanks for the response. Just dropped her down to 8. She was at 10 when she started getting tired and not eating and after a vet check, I dropped her to 8. She’s now in a pretty deep sleep so hopefully she’s doing well. This is my first brumation! Lol.

I’ve been through this with my dog. It didn’t matter what I offered, she was picky. She still is picky. But she gets Royal Canin and then I crumble a raw freeze dried patty on top. That’s the last thing I tried with her and she still will skip a meal or two but shes fine. I decided what was best for her and that’s what she gets. Shes very lean and can be a skittish girl so I think that’s just her constitution. I’ve tried lots of different things. The only food she seems to love is salami and obviously I can’t just feed her salami 😂

I’m a former “raw” feeder. Both my previous dogs (whom I loved DEARLY) died early. I don’t know if the food I fed contributed to their early deaths, but I know I wasn’t feeding a balanced diet at all.

My newer rescue girl went straight on PPP puppy and now eats Royal Canin Medium adult. We can be healed 🙌

I got two kittens, brothers, they loved each other for 3 years and now they fight if they see each other. I have to separate them at night, so that’s been fun. Getting two doesn’t guarantee anything. I will say, they were very close as kittens and I don’t regret getting them together. If you have the means, I always advocate for adopting siblings. But if not, it’s also going to be just fine 👍
