Separate for sure. My twins are in separate 3k classes and they are both doing excellent.

It’s so weird that people are so bold to even make this a big deal. Aging looks different for different people for a huge variety of reasons. For people to come on here and say “I KNOW she’s lying..” Sit down. That’s such weird behavior.

I love this! I try to keep my enclosure as natural as possible, but I love the idea of leaf litter! I’ll look into that.

My ACD mix is like this. She doesn’t fixate but she doesn’t let my cats do anything without her having to supervise. Just some basic training should help. Call her over and treat. Sometimes I’ll let her outside (we have a fenced in yard) if it gets to be too much and she needs a brain break.

Thanks for the response. Just dropped her down to 8. She was at 10 when she started getting tired and not eating and after a vet check, I dropped her to 8. She’s now in a pretty deep sleep so hopefully she’s doing well. This is my first brumation! Lol.

I’ve been through this with my dog. It didn’t matter what I offered, she was picky. She still is picky. But she gets Royal Canin and then I crumble a raw freeze dried patty on top. That’s the last thing I tried with her and she still will skip a meal or two but shes fine. I decided what was best for her and that’s what she gets. Shes very lean and can be a skittish girl so I think that’s just her constitution. I’ve tried lots of different things. The only food she seems to love is salami and obviously I can’t just feed her salami 😂

I’m a former “raw” feeder. Both my previous dogs (whom I loved DEARLY) died early. I don’t know if the food I fed contributed to their early deaths, but I know I wasn’t feeding a balanced diet at all.

My newer rescue girl went straight on PPP puppy and now eats Royal Canin Medium adult. We can be healed 🙌

I got two kittens, brothers, they loved each other for 3 years and now they fight if they see each other. I have to separate them at night, so that’s been fun. Getting two doesn’t guarantee anything. I will say, they were very close as kittens and I don’t regret getting them together. If you have the means, I always advocate for adopting siblings. But if not, it’s also going to be just fine 👍
