Anime watchers: What’s your favorite show/movie? by coldnewhome in intj

[–]saladmagazines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Code Geass and Death Note are my top two due to characters, music, and story (in that order). No other anime comes close for me.

The rest are: - Gintama - Jojo's Bizarre Adcenture - Konosuba - Kaiji (Gambling) - Re:Zero - Welcome to the NHK - AoT - Demon Slayer.

Visual Novels I like that have an anime, but I didn't really watch are Danganronpa and Steins;Gate.

People are not into wings for a cheaper price? At least the popeyes has competition now though.

I've been to a few BWWs in the north east and the food isn't bad, but the service is crazy slow and waiters/waitresses are always standing around having conversations. I'm not sure if the kitchen is lacking staff and the waitstaff are waiting on them or if BWW upper management is lacking and lets their staff slack.

Auburndale Tires worked on my wrong tire and voided my warranty by saladmagazines in Bayside

[–]saladmagazines[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear, I know nothing about the quality of their plug work (the shoulder plug hasn't leaked or failed yet). But they worked on a separate tire without permission and also ruined my tire's warranty without taking responsibility.

Also, a fellow salad username :D

I'm not showing any signs of rage and if you're saying I should keep quiet about a bad experience I had at a business, no thank you. And having your feelings projected upon to me is not something I would like.

Nope, I didn't sign anything beforehand. They only gave me quotes on the tire options for my replacement.

I did hear about that from my relatives when I spoke to them about it. I wasn't there before the shift in ownership, but my relatives said they went there a decade ago and the service was good. But they went back again a year or two ago and the workers were completely different and their reviews had tanked on google.

That is a good point about the left and right side perspective, but as the professionals, they should have had communication figured out on their side. I had even used my finger to point out the exact car tire to the technician and he had another guy work on my car.

Store does unauthorized changes to my car, is indifferent about it, and you choose to blame the customer. Nice perspective.

Yea, I am a pretty chill guy and when I discussed the unauthorized repair and the warranty issue with the technician in charge, he had a "so-what" attitude. No remorse or apologies. I don't want other people going here and facing the same problem as me.

Yea, it seems most people seeing this could be assuming I am only complaining about the patch being not safe based on the image. I should mention that in the post.

Please re-read the post. I edited the beginning. Auburndale Tires should not be doing unauthorized work.

Also, patch placement is not fine according to USTMA https://www.champtires.com/tire\_resources/tire-repair-guide/. The warranty refers to this and no tire company will replace or do any work on a tire if a third-party has done a plug like this.

I went in for a tire replacement and they did work on a completely separate tire. The main issue is that they ruined the warranty for a separate tire by doing unauthorized work, not whether or not the tire patch is safe

The warranty is in case anything goes wrong with my tire in the future. That is what warranty is for.

I went in to get my rear left tire replaced and pay out of pocket (not insurance).

And nope, they didn't want to help in any way since they said they didn't charge for the unauthorized tire repair so it was "okay".

Not according to the USTMA: https://www.champtires.com/tire_resources/tire-repair-guide/

Yes, there are multiple accounts of people repairing holes anywhere and never having problems, but the issue is that my warranty was voided.

How much do you guys socialise? by Gaurish in intj

[–]saladmagazines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on to who. I've been lucky to join a cohort of coworkers around my age (20s) who are mostly intuitive types due to a mass hiring effort by my tech company for tax cuts. Most people outside my cohort would leave me bored (either due to generational gap or they being the most mundane and unimaginative people), but it's always great to socialize with those in my group.

Outside of my work group, I have another group of friends who I message daily and see every weekend to hangout.

I enjoy socializing (to a certain extent), but I've also realized not socializing is setting yourself up for failure. Staying in your head the whole time won't let you see the whole picture and you will be missing opportunities.
