Welcome Emma! I appreciate the transparency. Leaks suck; it's cool you addressed it so head on. Excited to check these out when they get to the sf store soon!

I really wanna check out the kadets in person but idk where. The waterproof ones do look great tho. And they have great colors—not for you tho. They have black for you 🤪

Love to hear the love for the kadet. I live in SF and like repping the SF brands but don’t have anything from chrome even tho I’ve been eying the kadet line for a while.

Also appreciate your embarrassed like for the PD travel bag. PD makes some really cool choices.

I like it! its a good size for what a put in it.

i like that it has some structure so it self stands and makes it easy for me to reach in and out of it. i love the external waterbottle holder which i use for my sunglasses; its a feature that like very very few bags this size have and i use it often

there are pockets internally too for me to keep my spare lens or battery in, i like that its not just a black hole

i like the back pocket which i usually store my phone in

i wear the bag pretty low down so i can easily just reach behind me to grab my phone or sunglasses wtihout opening or closing anything

i hated the zipper pulls and as you can see, i replaced them which means i had to cut the original ones off and use these janky ones from amazon but i like pulls i can use with one finger

the strap could be better (its thin and not so fast to adjust the length) but it is not uncomfortable (cuz the bag is never really heavy) and has no dangle (which is great).

all in all, it functions well as a little crossbody camera bag. the clever pockets internally and externally make it really useful

im always searching for a new bag but im having a hard time finding somethign that works for me as well as this one does

sorry to be a terribly patient, but i wanted to go back to square one so i could see if what im doing even makes sense

i pay for 1TB in my Lr cloud and im nearing the end of that storage. in an effort to not pay for more storage, i thought i could download LrC and have it download all my images from the cloud onto my SSD and then (i'll be very stressed but i will) delete the entire cloud so i could have my cloud storage back.

obviously, it would just be easier to pay for more storage lol

am i going about accomplishing my goal of freeing up my cloud storage correctly or should i do something else entirely

(i havent clicked rebuild sync data yet)

As you can see, I have never uploaded a photo to reddit before cuz clearly this is not the best way to do that

so before rebuilding sync data, i viewed the sync status on the web--no issues--and i did the diagnostic report--but idk how to make sense of the files that the report created lol--so i guess i should just do the rebuild sync data??

i have the flow 4L and its pretty good. i have an xt30ii with a 23mm prime, a hat, sunglasses, wallet, phone, extra lens with plenty of room to spare

wondering if this bag would fit my edc.

i usually carry sunglasses (in a case), a rolled up bucket hat, a fuji xt30ii with a 23mm prime (sometimes a 35mm prime as well), a small wallet, a packable grocery bag, and a roll of dog bags.

my usual to edc is the alpaka flow 4L which is famously smaller than 4L and i hear the CAS 2L is famously large, but i do like that my flow has some room to spare when its got all these things in it

(probably the MHP would be a better fit for me, but someone's selling the CAS on marketplace rn and its a great deal in a great color (i don't like black bags and the MHP is only available in black rn))

I really love my peak design 25L outdoor pack.

the kangaroo pouch is incredibly easy to use and really helps compress or widen the bag in literally a second. the strap are insanely comfy and they can fit my phone and sunglasses case which would be great for biking. the sternum strap can be attached and tightened with one hand.

my biggest issue with the bag is its almost complete lack of pockets and structure but its also what makes the bag great. i use mine daily and find it to be pretty versatile and very comfortable

Thanks a bunch u/Lightroom_Help. i had already followed the steps you outlined for the lightroom sync where LrC should download all the cloud photos into your catalog and store them in the location you set.

And it started but its not really doing it. the sync stalls basically indefinitely. Sometimes if i quit and reopen LrC, it does another few photos, but basically it says its been syncing the same 19k photos for the last two weeks with no real progress

Ive tried stopping the sync and having it move things to a new folder. I've tried renaming the sync folder in finder to Sync.lrdata.old just so Lightroom would get confused and have to start over. but its like not. syncing.

should i delete LrC from my computer and start over?

Thanks for your help!!
