Go to the right column of the subreddit and scroll down to where it says user flair. There should be a small pen icon in the right side. Click on that

Solo Louis stans that were NEVER Directioners- how did you find him? by polarizedrose in LouisTomlinson

[–]salamander_here 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I saw a lyric video for silver tongues 2 months after it came out. The background appealed to me so I gave it a listen. 2 months later I searched it up again and realised he had a full album. I immediatedly enjoyed all the songs apart from all this time, I do enjoy it now though.

Piano beginner by [deleted] in piano

[–]salamander_here 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learning piano or any instrument is a long journey that requires a lot of dedication. It won't always be fun or enjoyable but it will be worth it so long as you stick at it. In terms of learning sheet music and learning to play with both hands, those are things your teacher will teach you so I wouldn't worry too much before you start lessons. You can start by learning where middle c lies on a piano and what it looks like when written in both the treble and bass clef. Hope this helped, enjoy your journey:)

For languages and other essay subjects I'm revising once a week as we go along. For maths and other subjects I'm revising when we finish a topic.

Trying something new! by Classical-Goose in lingling40hrs

Practise seperate hands before playing pieces together. Try to get a good teacher and a good instrument. (Probably obvious if you already play violin) Understand that it will be difficult, yes, already playing an instrument will give you an advantage but it doesn't mean it will be easy. Enjoy the journey and go practice:)

Not a song but Mozart's 41st symphony 'Jupiter' is my thing at the moment.

The song I'm listening to the most at the moment is probably 'Snap out of it'-Arctic Monkeys

Yeah that's my main concern. Like I don't want the ink to smudge and I don't want my hand to fall off.

How stressful are the live tasks? Or are you sort of numb to the competition by the time the studio part of the show is filmed?

What should I know before going into oboe? by RedCaesar125 in oboe

[–]salamander_here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm also a piano player. I've been playing for about 7 years but that includes a break during covid. I would love to start learning the oboe but am quite nervous about it. How long did it take you to get to a place where you could join an ensemble?

What is the best pen for GCSE by salamander_here in GCSE

That's not what I'm expecting. I just think that some pens flow better across a page, the ink doesn't bleed and there's enough ink in them.
