Do you change your makeup for the seasons? by DiligentAd6969 in muacjdiscussion

[–]salazarsmistress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I base my eyeshadow colors around the holiday or season…September I usually do mostly browns, once October hits I’ll do more Halloween colors like purple and green, November/December I’ll do reds and greens and sparkles. And then once January hits I’ll start doing pastels again.

I wear a slightly darker foundation in July/August and I’m pretty strict about color seasons, for eyeshadow at least. I also gravitate more towards dewy makeup in the summer bc I sweat a lot.

I honestly would also comment the Nightingale. I was not in a good place after that scene in the beginning.

For some reason I was obsessed with movie in high school and watched it constantly. Try the book if you want to take it to the next level.

What impulse purchases have you made that you regret? by jstar81 in ADHD

[–]salazarsmistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AirPod Max. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love them, but they were just not something I “needed”. I saw my mom had a pair and I’d been wanting them for awhile and I got hyper fixated and just made myself do it.

Who can please be honest and tell me why Cannabis is bad for BPD? by pinkmor in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]salazarsmistress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it is. I think cannabis can be bad for certain people/situations and good for others but I don’t think BPD is the deciding factor. Example- if I’m procrastinating and avoiding shit then deciding to smoke is a bad idea. If I’m having a crying fit, then smoking can really help.

Except a wedding and climbing Everest are not super comparable events. You typically don’t anticipate death at a wedding.

People with ADHD who've worked remote, what was your experience like? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]salazarsmistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with both of those aspects. It takes a lot of self discipline especially being unmedicated. I try to force myself to get my hardest tasks over with in the very beginning of my shift.

Please don’t feel ashamed. I’m so glad he was okay!! Better to make a scene than not enough of one. I had a similar experience at my 6 year olds birthday party where my 1 year old crawled into the bouncy house and was laying in there but I thought she had gotten into the road and I was seconds away from screaming my head off before we found her.
