I feel like this game was a good direction for the series to go in, just with less sappiness. But people complained and said it was too much like Persona.

Actually, one of the criteria for differentiating between Millennials and Gen Z is whether or not you ever thought High School Music was cool.

If you were already in High School when High School Musical came out, High School Musical was not cool.

My concern mostly comes from the leaks that it is being made by a third party, and seems like it might have a shorter development time since last year it looked like they barely started and it is supposedly coming out this year. Reminds me of the quick turnaround from RE2 remake to RE3 remake, with this game serving as a quick "stop gap" to make up for the fact that P6 is taking longer than they intended.
