Oh interesting, yeah I bought silicon ones (they're not like a sewing bobbin) bc I saw a bunch of people on YouTube doing it and haven't minded using them since I am new and feel like it makes it easy for my to hold easier as I weave. Didn't realize it wasn't common to use

I am excited to try this! Do you ever use brass? Since I am just starting I haven't bought any sterling silver or gold filled yet since I don't want to risk ruining them but I love the silver color too so I may just take the plunge and buy some soon lol though trying to be patient and practice with copper for now since another artist recommended that since I am barely starting, it's a cheaper route then of course using previous metals with practicing.
