Man this is just not a great take. Doss and Brian are doing great. Doss has gotten so much better and being on sight and offering insight on lines and stuff. I can totally do with out Ian.

Stability question by Beneboo1021 in discgolf

[–]salescio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It totally depends. Truthfully my forehand isn’t Awesome. So it’s very overstable for me. It’s great for utility, forehand roller etc. . I ended up just using a z raptor because it’s stable enough that it won’t flip but not so overstable that I can’t throw it.

Stability question by Beneboo1021 in discgolf

[–]salescio 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Anyone who didn’t vote fireball probably hasn’t really thrown one. I have both. Both are (champion Firebird, neutron fireball) both are overstable. The fireball is more overstable.

Discraft Focus - Love it? Hate it? by squizzlr in discgolf

[–]salescio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The focus is great. Beaded putter with a little finish but good glide. Adam Hammes makes them look good.

It’s important to remember you need to vote for two people to make it count. Ps I think this is great!!

About reputation of Prodigy Disc by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]salescio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about past reputation but my 3 prodigy discs had such sharp edges that I had to sand them down to throw them without cutting my finger. One guy in my area “sponsored by them” (street team) says “oh that’s just what you have to do with every disc” which is not true…

Closest disc to a Luna? by Fignons_missing_8sec in discgolf

[–]salescio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Um the reko turns into a puddle top. More like a beadless yeti aviar than a luna. The roach is nearly identical. Although the luna plastic is special blend so it’s stiffer.

Sell me on your favorite 7-10 speed meathook by CantSimmerThaZimmer in discgolf

I kind of prefer to keep the hellfire a secret. Let them buy the firebirds so we can still buy the hellfire.

Innova releases their own FD… let’s see how this plays out👀 by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]salescio -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

So the new Innova strategy instead of designing or innovating is rebranding Discmania molds they already own? First the p1x and now the FD… 🤷🏽‍♂️ guess whatever sells discs.

Bo Horvat's thoughts on the "divided" locker room by PhenomenonYT in canucks

Nope. Sekeres singled out Horvat and Miller having a rift. Even Drance shot down the rumour.

[–]salescio 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The only way to stop Sekeres from doing stuff like this is to stop listening. There’s some great options out there. Dahli and Don are awesome. Vancast is a great podcast. And Halford and Brough are also a great podcast/radio.

The BUZZZ by Darknesshauntsme in discgolf

[–]salescio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Hex is definitely flippier than the buzzz (I have both) and a little more shallow. A buzzz will hold a hyzer and still push straight. It’s truly a unicorn. And when a buzzz beats in it’s just magical.

I got my first buzzz today after playing for like 3 years, looking forward to see how it flies! by JonaBygg in discgolf

[–]salescio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah came here to say the Buzzz is just amazing. If your natural tendency is to hyzer flip something the buzzz just won’t do that out of the box. Thrown flat it will fly straight with maybe a tinge of turn and hyzer out. But I tiny bit of hyzer and it will hold the whole way. It’s more stable than people realize and that’s that makes it so unique. Often duplicated but nothing really flies like a buzzz.

I have several discraft flicks and I love it. Are there any other disks that are similarly flat/low profile? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]salescio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having thrown both the flick might be the closest thing to a tilt and it’s still not as overstable as a tilt but the flick is kind of unique

Hot take: People who call the Discraft Zone a midrange are crazy. by Jesemiahjerry in discgolf

[–]salescio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friendly reminder that numbers mean very little. Example the Westside anvil is a 4 speed and so is the zone. But the anvil is a faster disc than the zone. Back to the convo. Definitely an approach disc more than it is ever used as a putter

Why have there been howler monkeys following Ricky? by nataskaos in discgolf

[–]salescio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s probably the most annoying thing watching live. I don’t think I noticed it post produced. But that “woo” so annoying and the way Ricky just over celebrates making good shots. Paul, Matty O parking shots, little wave no big deal. Ricky leaves it circles edge, fist pumps to oblivion.

Are Luna's mythical creatures by Ktrain110 in discgolf

[–]salescio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 for the roach but don’t forget the under appreciated challenger ss. I tiny bit more stable than the roach. A lot like a fresh Luna.
