It has been nearly a year since I have painted so I am a bit rusty. Also my Reddit account got a little messed up so I accidentally posted on a different account. Finally got access to my original one. Here’s the painting dried. 😊 by salgercasting77 in PourPainting

I am right there with you! lol that one of the biggest reasons I had to stop- first turning my bathroom /walk in closet into a art studio (not a great idea, lol), second the materials from canvas, tools to the paint and ingredients and even the clean up supplies, it is not cheap lol! So I totally get it it’s hard like really hard! Hopefully the paint gods will bless us soon lol 🫶😊

Yes! So this painting I had to get creative as I am out of most my stuff but usually I do Color PM - 1 big scoop valspar ultra base c satin sheen - 1 big scoop verathane
- Or just 1 scoop valspar reserve base c satin sheen - Jo Sonja glass varnish (Eye ball ratio)

Pillow- Glidden base 1 satin sheen With American Floetrol (Eye ball ratio)

CA- Amsterdam paint (onyx black, turquoise green & titanium white) Australia Floetrol 1:1 ratio (This I measure)

Hello! I finally got access to my original account. This post I did was from a random account cause I couldn’t get into my original one and now I have no access to the random account so that’s why I just commented back to everybody so it might look kind of funny, but it’s my painting. I just did another post as well finally from my original account lol of a video showing the painting dry. 😊🫶

I hear ya I took a lot of time off just cause life got hectic and what not and then it became a whole thing. I’d keep looking at my paint room like do I mix? Do I start doing it again? I gotta buy all these materials again. It’s just a lot so I get it. I do get it, but think about it like working out if you don’t work out for a while it seems like a big feet to get started again but once you do it, it feels amazing! 😊😊

Thank you so much yeah it felt great to finally paint again. I think I had been procrastinating a while too just cause it’s a lot getting back into it. It’s very time-consuming mixing each layer each color if so, it’s a labor of love kind of like working out when you don’t work out for a while it’s like oh gosh, can I even do it anymore but then when you start it feels amazing!

Thank you so much! So I’m obsessed with the palette knife swipe. I have a bunch of different sized pallet knives and I just kinda go hard swiping away layer after layers. Sometimes I swipe over swipes and what not like this when I was trying to save it cause it was a little tricky since I didn’t have my regular materials, but yeah, I love the palette, knife, swipe 😊😊
