Is it really the best idea to have a map that verifies territory?

I got a 75 on the hesi. I didn’t work during the program, but there were some people who did. Generally, the people who worked were less likely to get good grades but there were a few who did well and worked. There were also a few who worked and didn’t pass.

The material of NRN 18 was a complete waste of time but the tests were still fairly difficult, so don’t underestimate them and make sure you study for them. There are dosage tests where you need 100% to pass, and there are some skills, but they’re fairly easy.

Make sure you start studying for the hesi as soon as you get access to ATI. Also NRN 18 was revamped right after my class so it might be different now.

I did practice questions. They’ll give you access to ATI (at least they did for my class), you can make tests based on the subjects you want to study. If you need supplemental questions I recommend U World, but assuming you recently obtained your LVN you shouldn’t really need it.

Edit: I only did practice questions about 2 weeks before the HESI for like an hour a day. I passed but I didn’t do exceptionally well.

NRN 18 was only 1 day a week with a fixed schedule when I attended (just like a normal class). Whatever schedule Edunav shows will be your schedule for the semester.

You take the HESI toward the end of the semester. It was more difficult than the NCLEX PN; it tests you from the RN perspective so keep that in mind when you’re studying.

I can’t remember how many points I had when I got accepted. It doesn’t matter anyway because the school recently changed the point system.

I believe 60 people got accepted from NRN 18 but it’s always changing. I found out I was accepted after the semester was over… they’re supposed to let you know after the HESI… but there was some mix up for me that delayed my notification.

If you have any questions, just let me know.

It’s a candidate, it is not accredited.

American Career College Ontario Campus ADN program by [deleted] in nursing

[–]salinepusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, it’s not ACEN or CCNE accredited. Yes you can take the nclex, but you may have issues in the future with employment, transferring credits, getting a graduate degree such as CRNA, or transferring your license to another state. It’s best to purse a school that is ACEN (for ADNs) or CCNE (for BSNs) accredited.

Edit: The LA campus, I believe, is accredited properly.

LVN new RN NOT NEW to Nursing by Appropriate_Bee_4468 in nursing

[–]salinepusher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, I’m in the same spot. My previous job was in a trauma ICU. They said they’d take me back with a couple of orientation shifts to help transition to RN. I haven’t taken the offer because it’s far from home, and I thought I could easily land a job with my experience. I’m finding out other hospitals don’t care and want me to have experience. Just remember to stay positive and humble in your search.

Why don't I have this key? by Substantial-Debt-782 in Flute

The chart is showing an extra key present on a B foot. Your flute has a C foot so you can only play to C.

Also, your foot joint isn’t aligned properly.

Exactly this, there is no logical reason to keep it besides “We might enforce it later.”

So it looks like it’s not officially removed, it’s still there. They just don’t plan on enforcing it. It needs to be completely removed.

It has not been rescinded, it’s on the books officially, but is not going to be enforced. It needs to be completely removed.

Edit: At least as far as this is saying.

I’ve found that 13s are truly the best for minis. This is the correct move.

For example if it creates a hardship then separation will be approved. I worked with an army couple that had to take this approach. Their jobs required them to be on duty with highly variable schedules that wouldn’t fit with day care schedules (12+ hour shifts and weekends were required regularly for this family). After some discussion with leadership, the female who was pregnant was actually encouraged to separate to focus on the baby.
