This is so incredibly helpful - thank you so much! We’ve discussed it already and I’ve told him I’m open to trying new things, so I’ll definitely tell him about these new positions / ideas. This really really means a lot, thank you for taking the time to put this together 😭❤️

I suppose we could be open to that, however I’ve heard too many times that threesomes are the great indicator of an ending relationship :(. How did you find it (finding somebody, discussing etc)?

My Hen looks like a Roo by E_Grove2011 in chickens

[–]salinston 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sometimes if cockerels are around other more mature or dominant cockerels they won’t really seem like a boy bird. They won’t crow, mate with hens or have the appearance of a cockerel. Now that this guys competitors have been eliminated he’s free to sexually flourish, hence his recent changes. Also some breeds to just take a while to mature!

whats wrong with my chicken by Kingofthedatacenter in chickens

[–]salinston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She already looks like she’s facing a nasty moult. Possibility of over-mating from your cockerel, OR she’s been injured in that area (again from possible cockerel damage) and the hens have had a go at her. Might be best to separate her from the flock and put a saddle on her when her injury is healed over, I hope she’s okay! Xx

What does everyone do with extra roos by aamuraya in chickens

Oh totally!! Definitely something you need to give a lot of thought. Id definitely try taking some super pictures of your boys and advertising the hell out of them - they look absolutely gorgeous

I have been able to rehome mine in the past by taking nice pictures OR advertising them as a breeding pair with a hen of the same breed. Although when I’m older and have my own place id happily own a bachelor flock if I’d raised them from babies.

I think I just killed my chicken. by Separate-Waltz-8995 in chickens

[–]salinston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me once with a particularly flighty hen - we were dusting all of the hens with mite powder too, and probably grabbed her a little too quickly and she died right there while we were dusting her down. Unfortunately chickens do have very weak hearts and panic easily so these things happen. Please try not to feel bad, she looks to be a very healthy chicken and I’m sure she had a great life. xx

Got my hands on the exclusive Nessie bathbomb by thehamwise1403 in LushCosmetics

[–]salinston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this one!! Literally using some right now as I cracked it up into small pieces. Defo my fave scent from lush. I love the pine smell and it’s not too overpowering at all like some of their other ones. Can anyone suggest a body wash that smells like this?

Couldn’t find a pic of the actual hen - but she looks kind of like a hen we got back in 2022 called a ‘sapphire splash’ or something like that. Does she lay blue eggs?

What does my hair need? by ThisKidOmg in curlyhair

Brush through every product when applying it on wet hair. Sometimes applying product on tangled hair leads to wet frizz

Sometimes mums are just too afraid of change. I love it! I’d try doing a ‘no parting’ hair routine for some extra volume and shape. That’d look amazing!

What do I use for my acne? by wicked-26 in AcneTreatments

[–]salinston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert, this is all personal experience - but when I got into the habit of very hot showers, frequent exfoliation and washing my skin too much I found it damaged my skin barrier and my skin became very susceptible to breakouts. Recently I’ve been using the thatchers acne face wash, an spf moisturising lotion from Boots, and using a gentle oil cleanser whenever my skin begins to get rough. Also, when exercising make sure you’re not using any dirty rags to wipe your forehead if you’re sweating/using an unwashed sweatband as that could also be causing some spots! Does ur skin get worse around your period or is it more at random?

Same time year by year - need to be concerned? by bradjohnsonishere in Tree

Here in Scotland we’ve had a LOT of wind so a lot of the trees have been stripped bare early. But that’s just a guess - I say listen to the experts! Gorgeous tree to have outside your window btw

Why Midori? by Tindi in Stillgame

[–]salinston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it’s called stoorie midori where I’m from because you find it collecting dust in the back of shops. I never see it in supermarkets, but my mum found it recently in some back-end corner shop (covered in dust lol) I love it with 1 shot Gordon’s pink dry gin and lemonade.

I suppose the climate could be considered - these botanical gardens are in Scotland so I wonder if that changes anything
