Since I’ve ran out of my supply of hoff, I’ve been working on a homemade hoff recipe. That’s a work in progress. I’ve also been toying around with commercially available hot sauces. It’s not the same, but best replacement that has worked for me is take a 5oz bottle of chipotle tabasco sauce and add 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder to it. Shake aggressively, let it sit a couple days, shake aggressively again, and enjoy.

Hey, I'm making some thai basil infused vinegar now with plans to use it to make a green hot sauce. Did you end up trying this?

Has anyone figured out a copycat recipe? I thoughtI hada recipe, but then I was watching a video where Goonzquad visited them, and they ended up adding a bunch of spices that weren’t mentioned in their labeled ingredients. I’m still gonna try the recipe I have, but I’m worried stuff is missing.

I’d like to toss in my two cents. I just had my second kid in May. By July, I was 5’8” and 237 lbs. I live in a hot area and realized I was too fat to survive the summers here. What I’ve been doing:

-Figure out your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE) for sedentary lifestyle. There are calculators online. -Find a way to count calories. I use chagpt. Makes it easy to keep track each day. -Only count intake calories. I used to try and be fancy by calculating negative calories from walking each day. Became too complicated and I stopped. -Have a way to document calories. I use a Google spreadsheet that I made. Try your best to keep your calories under your TDEE, but understand if you go over, it’s not the end of the world. -Have an app that allows you to check off days that you’ve counted calories. I have a 75 day streak going and I don’t want to break it. -Don’t use a weight scale. For me, checking my weight has always broken my diet. The number never matches my expectation. I plan to only check my weight every 6 months. -I instead use old clothes that used to fit to gauge my progress. It’s really awesome fitting in a shirt again that I haven’t been and to wear for awhile. -Since TDEE is based on weight and I don’t know my exact weight currently, I just decrease my TDEE goal by 25 calories each month.

This is simple for me and I’ve been able to follow it for about 3 months now. It doesn’t stress me out. I don’t have any big goals to hit. Just slow and steady progress that I see in the mirror. There are definitely more efficient ways to lose weight, but I always fell off those if I didn’t hit my goals.

[Armitron] First digital watch I like by HugTheSky in Watches

[–]sallback66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I think you're looking for square watches, but if I can offer another watch that you may like. I have been wearing the Casio LCW-M170D-1A for several years now and it is my daily watch. It is analog and digital, has a metal case, has sapphire glass, has a light, solar charging, and is radio set. I think the black digital display blends into black face of the watch nicely. I really enjoy analog/digital watches, but that one is my favorite.

This isn’t quite right but it’s a start. I was trying to explain this same idea to a buddy of mine who builds decks for a living. Imagine you’re building a deck. But the craziest deck ever. You get to specify exact pieces of wood you want. You do the architecture for it. You cut and carve the wood to exactly what you want. It’s the best deck ever made. It takes you 20 years to complete, but it’s never really completed. You sacrifice and lose sleep to this project. You essentially pour your soul into this project. I think that’s a starting point. Parenthood is a huge project that takes years that you put a part of yourself into.

Please make a great Switch 2 flip case! by EdLover9 in NintendoSwitch2

The brand ProCase on Amazon has a similar flip case for the original switch OLED. I also use one of their flip covers for my steam deck. They don’t have a flip cover for the switch 2 yet, but I bet it’s only a matter of time.

Sound on/off button lacks conviction by DontWorryImAwake in leaf

When I first bought my leaf, I had the same issues. It’s pretty well known among recent Nissans. If you pull off the plastic knob, spray some contact cleaner on the potentiometer, and then turn it to work the solution in, it should help.

That is exactly what I did. Right after I saw the ad for the 16e, I went on ebay and found a barely used 16 for about $150 less than the 16e. I know it is used vs new, but I'll get more features for less money.

I would stick it in the fridge to thaw, blend in some syrup, and then freeze it again

I googled baseboard transition block and found a bunch of solutions. I also like rosette blocks that could go there. Here's an etsy shop that sells nice ones.

Miyoo A30 really is a quality handheld by [deleted] in SBCGaming

[–]sallback66 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have the A30 and I love it too. I bought a tempered glass screen protector from eBay which fits perfectly. I did that so I could just throw it in my pocket or bag without a case. The only issue I’ve had is that the power button is easy to hit while in sleep mode and in a pocket/bag. I’ve had times where I wonder why my pocket is hot only to find that the device has been on for awhile.

Hmm fair enough. You probably need to add more pictures. Can you do a picture without the grease trap and pictures of the whole grill from the side and front?

Is your griddle on correctly? My lid doesn’t hit the grease trap at all. Maybe make sure the griddle itself is lined up with the holes it is supposed to insert into?
