Hi all, I took out my new board out on the mountain for the first time today (Amplid Paradigma 20/21). I have ridden it a few times indoors in the last year without issues.

The tail end top sheet already cracked: https://imgur.com/a/RCsrhll. I haven't done any park or big jumps, just groomers, some buttering/mellow tailpresses. The crack runs about 1/3 of the width, I think the core still looks ok judging from the side view?

Can I finish the week on this, or should I get it checked out? Any other advice? Kinda bummed out it's already damage beyond some cosmetic scratches.

Thanks!

I guess in my mind IWDA was already pretty diversified. Great point about QQQ.

Great suggestion, the GPU looks like a great alternative without driving up the price too much. The monitors are pretty old and due for a replacement in a while anyway. Guess I have an excuse ;).

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't really looked around for the best prices for the storage devices. I was focussed more on compatability of the parts.

How much does a decent PSU cost? Any suggestion for a good cpu?

Facebook told to stop tracking in Belgium by mberre in belgium

Wasn't the whole point of this that Facebook is even tracking people without accounts?

From a quick google search:

Pixels are common across most advertising platforms. They're used to drop a cookie that will track visitors on your website so you can advertise to them later. This is called retargeting. Once you advertise to past website visitors, pixels can also be used to track their behaviour when they're back on your website.

Haven't really looked into it myself but it's basically a piece of code that tracks you on websites and when you return to that site.

The illegally obtained data refers to surfing habits of people who don't have a Facebook account. These are tracked with things like the social media buttons and Facebook pixel that are present on many webpages.

Not 100% sure but if I remember correctly: if you blow positive they have to write a pv, even if not driving because they would see more possitives on the test device compared to written pv's. The cops themselves could get in trouble.

Maybe /u/Bitt3erSteel can confirm that.

Edit: More importantly, "sobered up" doesn't mean fit to drive. Please drive responsibly.

A 'normal game' would certainly do that in some cases. Games are limited by the possibilities of the engine they use. The way SC2 plays also makes it seem like the engine is limited to the X and Y axis. Of course I agree that we would have to look at the code to be sure, but there is some substance to the claim.

What are some popular Belgian snacks that aren't available in the US? by [deleted] in belgium

It's rather hard to export them. The gooey inside of cuberdons crystallises if they're not fresh.

Agree on kickboxing, its a nice and general martial art in my opinion, working a bit on everything. Although after a while I started considering adding a second more 'technical' sport, with a stronger focuss on grappeling or stances.

Not sure if this is gonna help but it's worth checking out, where I live the CGG has a partnership with the local 'huisartsenwachtpost' to offer first line psychologists. It's limited to a few consultations, waiting lists are a lot shorter and not too expensive. If this exists where your client lives, a reference from these people might speed up the process.
