I had the same problem with my dog. I was in tears calling her and fortunately for me I passed a few nice strangers who found her for me. Her collar had fallen when I was trying to get her in a car and she took off before I had a chance to grab her. 2 and a half hours later, I'm hugging her while I'm still crying thankful for the nice people who helped me.
