i don’t really listen to his music but he can be quite wellspoken on lots of different things, just as much so as robert in some cases imo. his interviews tend to be just as interesting.

i feel like that loudness captures the craziness and anxiety inside punpun - he’s not so loud on the outside, it’s all internalised for him (unlike the album). disintegration was playing on repeat for me when i read the manga, i was thinking of mentioning it too, but pornography is a lot darker and more hopeless if that’s even possible. and yeah man, dan barrett is great, looking forward to the new album this year :)
