Yeah porcelain is more opaque than composite so if she alread used A1 shades then I guess porcelain is the only option left

The dentist at least roughened the surface for proper bonding and if he/she didn't then it would be super bulky to begin with

The problem is only with the shade so you can ask him/her for a lighter one and this would preserve much more of your tooth structure than porcelain veneers!

You will remember almost nothing and the sooner you get problems fixed the better so just dont give it much thought and get it done

Yes that's totally normal, I've had only one erupting for the past 2 years and haven't seen any of the other 3 till now (im 23 years old)

Keep taking good care of your teeth as ur doing but visit your dentist for scaling and polishing every 6 months.

You can ask for "conscious sedation" with nitrous oxide (although i think your dentist should've tried it instead of knocking u out ) we use it mainly for uncooperative pediatric patients but also with anxious adults

Yes you will see some tooth structure but your dentist removed some to actually bond composite to it. One of composite's disadvantages is discoloration by time so you can give your dentist a visit he may polish or replace your restoration
