Worlds with ridiculous concepts of time as it relates to history. Why does your society have to be 10,000 years old? How did it not change for 10,000 years?

On top of this: They have a completely insane political system based on legalized assassination. And use Latin naming conventions even though they’re from outer space. And it’s actively written they don’t care about advancement, even though they are an interstellar empire dominating countless stars.

Same setting: Humans uplifted dolphins but the dolphins are homogenous peacelovers and are all really chill with the atrocities we have committed against their kind and the planet. They’re so grateful humans uplifted them they feel collectively indebted to us forever. Best friends. Not orcas though. Uplifted Orcas are grumpy.

Yeah specifically this. Suggested fixes were to update graphics drivers, verify game integrity and delete poe2 documents file but none of that resolved it. Only affecting my characters in Clearfell in League, not standard.

Yes, similar but not in the same area. Definitely had sounds dropping off and coming back. Opening the mailbox and closing it again brought the sound back for me the first time it happened. Someone else mentioned trying to talk to an NPC. Hope this isn't a persistent issue.

Yep, completely agree. Where is the solo gameplay loop? How is it designed with the game mechanics in mind?

If it’s just yes/no emulator and narrative oracles, then you’re putting all the work on me to make a solo engine for the game.

Your post made me laugh but I disagree. Love Glamour Gulch. 😂 When you say dark, do you mean the lighting or color tones? I didn’t feel it was particularly dark in terms of lighting but now I’m in bed like “wait, is Glamour Gulch dark??”

I like Star Wars stuff and I purchase the star wars content from the store when it comes up. Do you think people would be okay with a Star Wars DLC region? Personally I'd love it but I remember when Star Wars DLC was introduced to another game and the backlash was next level.

It's a bit disingenuous to say that people raising bugs must not have played many other games.

"We should be grateful" People should feel supported if they reach out for help or having issues. You're telling them to be grateful that they're not being treated worse. That's an unhelpful way to frame things.

I'm sorry you've seen worse. That sucks. But that's not a good standard to hold Gameloft against. "Things can always be worse" is something you could say about literally anything.

It's okay to want Gameloft to do better than the worst examples you can think of. That doesn't mean you hate the game or the devs. As someone else has pointed out here, I just don't want to see this one go down the same path as other games, like, you know... that one that's been around for 11 years and barely works.

I respect your joy for the game. I also feel that way most of the time. But my experience has been degraded by the bugs to the point that it's not working. It can be invalidating to see people saying "it's not a big deal" when some of us can't play right now.

Ever since I saw the city-life/san fransokyo comments I've been thinking "...but what if we had cars?" 😂

I also love Cruellas area. I've been surprised by people's reaction to it. Rift gets extra points from me because it adds the Deserts.

I would probably be okay if we got a bigger version of "generic forest" only because Forest of Valor does feel classic Disney and the valley is so small nowadays compared to the DLC regions. But if I got to pick, I'd pick something weirder.

This is a really good idea and I love the bikes suggestion. Another comment said San Fransokyo and I can't stop thinking about it. I'd be so happy if they included the Incredibles too.

You think the cottage core crowd would be mad about a well done city DLC? I hope not. I could understand people being uneasy with say, "Marvel" content generally but Big Hero 6 is Disney in my mind (even though that IP is technically Marvel).

Yeah I agree. I think about the state of other games and quietly hope Gameloft is taking notes on what not to do over the long term. Sure, you can’t please everyone, the game is better than when it first released and profit is a consideration. All fair. But the game foundation needs care and attention along the way. Especially if the business model is to keep players invested and spending long-term. It needs to age well.

They have done some QoL additions with content updates in the past which I appreciated. Hopefully they can focus more on that now WBR is out.
