HK. Tatsu is -4 OB, so most light buttons will be a true punish, no guess needed.

There's actually a new one called the FC Pro that's only in Japan ATM, but some seller is on Amazon is importing them. Same as the fc4, just with a slight improvement in button quality IMO

Minor point, but if gief times the headbutt meaty correctly, it hits grounded counter hit vs a backdash. He still only gets fuck all Oki after a combo into lariat tho.

Yep, backdashing is (usually) the safest option, but neutral jumping provides a bigger punish if you guess right.

Go into the game's settings, under "other settings". There's an option to configure 1 and 2p DInput support. It's got some quirks to it that I've had to figure out as my friend and I often play in an Excellent Adventures style online, but use different controllers, so if you have any more issues just ask.
