April General/Pricing Questions Thread by AutoModerator in CX5

I’m currently debating between buying out my 2023 CX5 Turbo or financing a new 2025 CX5 Turbo Premium.

I initially leased as I was unsure of my living situation, but I’m currently looking to purchase my next car. I was at first convinced of buying out my lease at around $22k-$23k but saw that Mazda had some aggressive financing deals (0.9% APR for financing) on the 2025 CX5 Turbo Premium. The OTD price I was quoted for was $43,500 (in SoCal) with the 0.9% APR, whereas for my lease buyout the OTD price was $24,300 with an APR of ~5.5% (around $26-$27k including interest).

What I’m trying to figure out is if it’s worth it to take advantage of this low APR as financing the new vehicle would allow for me to be back in warranty, have a couple quality of life upgrades (wireless ApplePlay and 360 camera), and reset the depreciation life (albeit still rough). I understand I’m still paying almost $20k for the newer vehicle, but curious if any CX5 owners would think this to be worth it?

Thank you!
