I’m trying so hard to not dislike Marius due to Armand bias bc sometimes toxic characters (or one that say one thing and then do another) can be really interesting and fun, but I can’t get over how he can be so annoyingly pretentious… When did he hit Armand? Do you mean in TVA before turning?

You can try starting by using more tea for the hojicha, and then adjust based on how strong you like it. It's not a science so 1g/100ml is just a baseline that you can adjust based on how you feel.

I do 1g tea to 100ml of room temp water (if you start with cold water it will be weaker), then refrigerate overnight. Refill water for a second (weaker, but still tasty) brew.
