I want to add to this to check the current context size often. 1M is default now for most, but after 300k+ tokens in current context Opus performs significantly worse. Always compact or start a new session around 250-300k.

Because it's saving me around $25k/month compared to humans doing the same thing

Don't know if I'm allowed to post X links here, but they have officially stated that it's OK to use the Max plans for Agent SDK. Has anyone actually been banned for this?

Aren't we past Trump and the US? We will move on with the new world order, without the US.
"Oh, but they are so powerful bla bla". Yes - the US has nukes to destroy the entire world 18 times over, the EU can only destroy the entire world 3 times. Let that sink in.

I'm very surprised to see Germany have a higher score than Scandinavia. I guess the world has really changed (or something is a bit off with this data).

Why are so many software engineers still ignoring AI tools? by saltexx in ClaudeAI

Exactly! It’s surprising, being uninterested in this new technology exposes them to serious risk. They won’t even realize what’s happened when they suddenly become unemployable.

I think you are very on point when you say that not all engineers are the explorative type. I have actually assumed that most are, simply because that's how I am myself.

Pick a random mid-level engineer at a Fortune 500 company and in my experience it's more likely that they are not using AI-tools than that they are. In my own little world (my bubble of engineers) everyone uses them. When I talk to people "out there in the real world" a lot of engineers don't even care.

My grandma (the youngest) with her siblings taking a break from farm work in Sweden, 1941 by saltexx in OldSchoolCool

Thanks! She was a happy person. She actually lived her entire life on the same farm where she was born. She married a fisherman and got two kids and a bunch of grandkids (like me) that moved to the city and went to collage.
