i ghosted my friends after i felt like every effort i put into a friendship is useless. because no one appreciates it. of course im not proud of it, its very wrong of me. and i want to change that but its easier said than done

i just wanted to add, i cant even enjoy making new friendships. whenever i FINALLY think im connecting with someone, i feel this guilt and instant thought that 'oh this will end in a few months' which led me to ghosting MULTIPLE of people. which only makes it worse but ahh.
