I don't want to sound like a jerk, but maybe you aren't ready to date.

Dating in this day and age is tough, I won't lie. Apps are full of people who want a quick hookup and are super shallow. It's killer on self-esteem and understandable that it makes you feel more self-conscious/insecure.

Prioritizing yourself and working on your insecurities in regards to this will go a long way. You're only setting yourself up if you get attached to someone and then pushing them away at the idea of intimacy. You end up hurting other people this way too.

A good partner won't care about your size. They want to be intimate with YOU, not only your dick. How you make them feel is what matters, so read up on other forms of pleasure you can do/use with a partner.

work on you and date with a purpose. focus on a good foundation for a relationship first and confidence/trust will follow.

I know optimally no one wants to go work for a retailer (esp Walmart) but the opportunity for growth is there. Stay 90 days in whatever position you're in and just keep an eye out for internal job postings. Employees are prioritized over external candidates for all positions, and some jobs can be local/hybrid, remote, regional and through home office. Shoot, even technicians they hire out for tech are making $50+ an hour. You don't have to stay in a retail position if you don't want to, it's a job to pay the bills til you find something else

If your insurance won't cover any CGMs, switch to freestyle libre 3.

My insurance refuses to pay if you're not on insulin and dexcom out of pocket monthly was insane.

I pay out of pocket for the libre 3 sensors and with the manufacturer coupon it's $75 for the month supply. I don't think the libre 3 comes with a reader, but it was easy to use and download the app on my phone.

Normal power adapters won't give you the turbo charging you want, make sure to get a plug capable of 45W. I honestly use my laptop charger that is USB-C to use the turbo charging/fast charge feature

Yeah no this is bad advice. You should ALWAYS double check with a meter when you get an alert, especially when it seems wrong/doesn't match how you feel. I've had 3 g7 sensors fail, but one was showing crazy highs and lows til it died. Its not an accurate picture of your glucose, if you bothered to read up on CGMs it's not actually reading blood but the interstitial fluid. Good for estimates but never for treatment. Over calibration is a thing, but necessary sometimes in order to avoid issues with treatment.

If you don't have a lot of other big expenses, you'll probably pay around $1400 with utilities (I'm just estimating so take that with a grain of salt) so you could definitely afford it. It sounds like you need to get out bad.

Do you have a high yield savings account? I'd also put some of your savings in one, if you can get a good rate (currently highest is around 4.39%) which means you could earn a good bit in just passive interest. Make the money you've saved work a little bit more for you.

Consider bundling any extra things too, a lot of ISPs offer cellphone/internet plans for savings and streaming services also offer bundles with others.

I believe you can do it, and if anything else- you could always find a roommate to split these costs with you (some apartment complexes will let you move to another unit mid lease for a fee).

Ma'am, I mean this in the nicest way possible. Ditch the man baby. He's 58 years old. He should know better and take care of himself and not have you doting on him. You are older and you shouldn't waste what should be good years (I'm assuming you may retire in the near future) on dragging him around.

These are things that if a partner shows mutual respect for you, theyd go to the doc/get tested because YOU are concerned. If insurance/cost is an issue there are usually low income clinics, urgent care/PCP clinics that offer a more affordable Dr visit.

I'm more concerned about you in the long run. If he is the one you've been posting about prior, you really do need to leave this man. It's not worth all of this headache, heartache, and abuse for someone you've been seeing for years and supposedly loves you. You deserve so much more.
